I'm new to this site and i was just wondering a few things.I have a plant about 21 days into flowering i put it on a 12/12 light for about 26 days then i switched it to 18/6.Will this harm the plant in any way.So far so good.

my question is why?
12/12 is for flowering or if you just want to super charge them to grow a colla and skip vegging. 18/6 is used for the vegging process before you switch to 12/12 so you kinda went backwords on that. Since you already started vegging them for so long on 12/12 ide just leave it now, switching it up can stress out your plant and maybe cause it to herm.

i started them on 24/0 then 12/12.my buddy told me to switch them to 16/8 to start filling out and budding.so you think i should leave it on 16/8?

Well youll have to put them back onto 12/12 to flower anyways, and your plant looks like its already showing signs of sex which means youll need to go into flowering soon.
16/8 would have been beneficial to fill out your plant durring growing, the extra light is all for body growth not bud really (while the buds need light the plant uses that long light cycle durring veg to grow tall and broad). Plus you gotta figure youll be flowering for a while so your buds will fill out as time goes on. How many weeks did you go 24/0? Its a good idea to do but you should have jumped into 16/8 instead of 12/12. I would switch it back if I were you.
If you havent been running them for long you can risk it and see what happens, but they could herm because of stress. Theyve been use to a long dark cycle now and it might fuck em up.
