lighting problem please help

hi i have 2 400 watt hps i like them but i still get alot of popcorn so i wanted to step my game up i just cant decide if i should get a 1000 watt switchable or keep 1 400 and buy a 600 switchable and run thoose please any suggestions

How many plants you got goin under the 400's to still be gettin' popcorn buds?

you sure its your light thats causing popcorn buds ? to much heat can cause this , but many things can also

i have 8 under two 400 it is not to hot

along with heating what can cause the popcorn buds

Man lower branches always give popcorn, if you use the lollypopping technique you will just get one big fat cola or cola's depending if you have topped your plant. I cut away all the lower branches of plants the first week into flower, this causes the plant to direct its energy to the tops instead of that tiny popcorn shit.

Two 400w HPS lights is more than enough lumens to make fat buds, the lights are not your problem.

what is the lollypopping technique

i believe in never going higher then 600 because the efficiency of the lamp takes a nose dive. I would rather use to 600's then one 1000.
