lighting new veg room?

hello fello smokers and growers.my veg room is 4 1/2 long 4ft tall 3 ft wide.vented well.had to put lights in low budget till after x-mas.heard lots of good on cfl,s.bought 8 23 watt wired them in added one 4 ft florecent.room got very warm i unscrewd 4 to lower temp.? is how many can i use and not be to much for that little space.what i don't need in there can be added to flower room right?i seen the 65 watt only had 800 lumens these are 1600 each.
