Hello everyone. I started an acc on here to learn as much as I can. A friend and myself are going to use our extra room to grow. The plan was to use 4 1000w lights to light the flower room. But upon asking for advise people are saying that is going to be way hotter than I knew it would be.

What I want is advise on the best way to light the room?

Why can I not run LED lights? From what I have read they have a pretty low heat output?

Hello. You really are in a good place to learn but you should read through all the stickys and info... just about all your questions will be answered there.

The best way to light the room?

Use one 600w or 1000w hps for each 4'x4' square for flowering. imo leds are not for beginners
...they cost a lot and seem less forgiving.you may need to have more knowledge to maximize yield and quality with them which could take time.
you must cool the area sufficiently to keep temps in healthy range.

good luck!

Okay. Thank you. When I get my new computer at the end of the month I will. My old computer just quit on me so I am on a phone now. I really really really hate phones. Lol.
