Lighting during vegetation

Hi just wondering I am about to take clones of my WW. I run them on a HID light and it works mean as and theyre short and bushy and have really thick stems.

I am going to make a second room and try doing pretty much my whole vegetative stage with fluro lights only will they still turn out the same?

As in will the stems still be thick etc. What do you think?

No, fluorescents do not give the same growth. T5 lighting, is good, though. A good choice is here:

Growth time is not really an issue if it takes a few weeks longer thats ok but will the plants still be healthy?

yes your plants will def be healthy with good cfls, although they may not be as dense if you dont use HIDs unless you stay on top of keeping the lights as close as possible to the plants without touching them
