back in the 90's I smoked some DJ Short blueberry & I agree with u also it was some stellar smoke it is in my top 5 all time favorites as well.The high would last for 2-4 hours it was as close to old school as u could get with a nice twist of a chocolatey,blueberry taste that had you wanting more.1 joint would last me 1 day,just a few puffs at a time would satisfy my mind all day.Its a shame a lot of the younger folks didnt get a chance to be blessed with the goods from the 60's-70's sativas.

I was asked; what about 10000k and mixing hid and HP's? You can run 10000k and produce insane resin and get more plump buds, because of the added red in most. We tried a solistek and a plantmax 10000k. The solistek was a very beautiful and well built bulb, but plantmax kicked its tail. Solistek put too much red in theirs and plantmax uses peaks. More red in any hid, the slower the ripening, however they all will do it. Mixing hps and hid I'm no fan of. Why rev? The hps will not only slow down ripening, but the trees closer to the hid will be frostier and more ripe, so your crop isn't evenly ripened. Most who use or have used both, will in private abmitt this. Just thought I'd throw it out, cause we tried it all. I've been asked; what's best way to achieve a little more yield using high blue hid? Simple answer, veg under t5 or fluorescent if you can and then flower under high blue kelvin hid. Hid, makes Sativa's especially, not want to kick out branches until about the 11-13 node and they go to 22 like the human genome. T5 and Flo's, make branches come out faster and that's what you want, in order to proper defoliate those main branches for strength and secondaries to create mass yield and I'm talking 8-10 weeks veg to tailor a bush that will give a few pounds on its own if its oaxacan genetics, like say an hso blue dream, that's definitely lowland oaxacan genetics in there just for visual example. Too many people tried defoliation and done it wrong as I use to and give it a bad name. How did you learn the the technique rev ? From a Mexican boy that I love and we worked together on it, but my boy Armando sealed the deal. I defoliated under a big 600 watt and he defoliated under a t5 and his bushes blowed mine away lol! Armando discovered not only the timing, but also that they will respond better under less light. Boy didn't sleep for two months and pulled and watched. I'd pull leaves under my big 600 and my treed would stunt. He'd pull leaves at the proper time under those t5 and for every leaf he pulled, secondary budsites popped all over. My partner hybrid Bob, had a fit when he seen the boys bush. In ten weeks under 4 bulb 4ft t5, he tailored a 32x32in tree " three of them " that gave over a pound a piece. It was og fire x og master. First time I pulled leaves on his trees, he had a fit. In the end, he helped master a technique that he and I will use forever and can now teach with ease. Love you Armando and ya its me and no way could I have done it without you son and take care of that back, your too young for back problems. See, we all learn from one another. Tstick, this is for you. Hybrid bobs 7 1/2 ft blueberry tai pheno from his botanist friend in fort Collins. We call him Bob, because he looks like Bob Dylan when he dresses up lol! He says he don't care if I post his picture standing next to it as he's getting too old to care lol. As you can see tstick, he went veg crazy with this thing lol. My goodness rev, what is that? The tree of woe? Lol, nope however an example I made for those who have improper defoliated and ridiculed it. Don't laugh lol, scroll around and you will see how many have done this very horror " including me lol" and then report to everyone that the technique stinks and that of course keeps a smile on ole Jorge's face...cheese. You cannot pull leaves until the nodes produce branches as professor Armando helped me and him to learn. There is a timing. Now, if you have done this you could be waiting a long time for recovery. However there's a way. Flower it a couple weeks and then reveg and you will save it. When I defoliated like this too soon, I did not think it would work either, until we kept trying and got the timing down. Outside crops with the technique used properly, yield torpedo size buds and yet so many fear it. As usual. Gotta prove that too, even though god already did. How's that rev? Yes, I'll share. The guy mentioned above is a fanatic about leaves and being solar panels blah blah and don't pull...peace, love, soft speaker, hee hee. Well, he was at his buddies place a few years back and god sent the birds into his friends greenhouse and ate the budsites and defoliated his trees to sticks. Few months later, his buddies trees are freaking giants with buds like torpedo's. I have not heard yet of any retractions from him on the subject and he stood right in front of them. No humility Jorge unto the father? Search hard enough and the video may still be up. Armando loves Jorge and when he learned the technique proper and seen that video, it disturbed him also the lack of humility. I guess the " gurus" really can't see what's in front of them like the proper ripening also? Maybe their too busy protecting their statements and investments. I've watched some come on here with incredible ideas and some of course, not so incredible. We all have different back grounds and up bringing and yes beliefs and bloodlines, however in the end we are one and many like myself are here to help with that little something, that we think may also benefit the next guy...empathy. In the end, that's all I'm here to do..help. Soon, many brothers and sisters from all walks of life will come together and each one destined to help make great change. One, just as important as the other, one loved by god just as much as the other and every obstacle used against them, will work for their favor and Allah's plan for us all. Your examples will appear soon babies. Many of them like me, sinners and immoral in their youth. Let not their past distract you from the message. Tstick, you should let me send you some beans. I have been doing small seedings the last 18 months that have isolated incredible genetics for future larger seedings to get to people later, lord willing. I don't get a ton of seeds doing this, however the genes are there for later. I will honestly send you something mind blowing. Your in my moms and dads and bobs age group and like Bob, probably haven't had that sativa rush in decades. I did it right tstick, using males that were created from a pure oaxacan male " big ox " and my females will not throw a nut on you no matter how you treat them and will send mites packing. One strain that we are very proud of is big blue ox. Bob just grew one and got antsy and cut her at 16 weeks. It is the original haze brothers blue dream, which after growing had to of had Acapulco in its woodpile and crossed it with a pure wild oaxacan male. Bob went nuts over her. You get the rock hard nuggets of the haze bros, with the foxtail and huge bud mass of the ox. The buds are beautiful and even in veg it is so exotic and wonderful to watch grow. Bobs curing and says you can't crack the buds with a hammer lol. The effects of the haze bros blue dream is wonderful when ripened up and adding the oaxacan, should make any little indica effects the haze bros has, nill and void. We also crossed ox with 91 chemdawg and made big Dogg. Once we had that, we hatched out a big Dogg male and bred it to a big blue ox female to make big blue Dogg lol. Now, Bob says big blue Dogg is the most beautiful tree he's ever seen. I said, I know! Lol and big blue Dogg is fixing to be pollinated in a couple weeks with our Bob and sandy1 male " chemdawg x pure oaxacan x pure Acapulco gold," and should create possibly the largest hybrid anyone could do. I will call it " el mucho gigante." Most our hybrids and we have more are 90-95% sativa and based off of what we considered two of the best and least polluted sativa hybrids we tried over the years. Good ole 91 chemdawg and haze bros blue dream. Now that I have Bob concentrating on hybrids, I can now and in future put all my efforts into seeding pure locale sativa and indica's for preservation and serious science and those old and new growers out there that don't mind the wait for that sativa release or the knock out punch and contemplation of pure cactus indica's.
