idk what you mean by clock ambient light... i have tested it i have a small cfl grow box that is 110 actual watts and it blacks out the lights on my 80mm comp fan i put the diagnal walls in there for increased air flow because we all know that light traps do reduce your cfm so anything to maximize but still serve its purpose is helpfull...

typo man "block" ambient light was my intention. And it seems to do that but Im wondering how will work on a larger scale. Like a 1,000w hps bulb.

yea murfy i saw that, that is a good idea i do like it but is a lot harder to install than what i have come up with imo ... the trap i have built is meant to just be placed over your exhaust fan / intake fan or passive intake holes can be built to any size and is so light weight it can be held up with velcro strips that sticky to almost any surface including metal, wood, plastics.... as for 1000 watt hps i have not tested anything like that i dont see why it would be a problem using it in a setup like that but as long as your temps are controlable nothing to extreme i dont see why it would be a problem but thank you guys for your input i appreciate it alot if you have any ideas or improvments i would be very greatful im gunna try a couple different concepts on this idea and am going to start selling them on ebay customizable to all sizes and finishes :leaf:
