light sheild?

how many of you guys have glass between your lights and plant(s)?

i have mine with two outtake fans one before the glass and one above it and it colls down my box alot. with out it my box is 84 and with it its about 78-80 durng the day. so im just wondering if anyone else does this and if not maybe you can do it to cool down your box and maybe add more lights

I don't but I've seen it put to great use.

What kind of fans do you use and what kind of light baffle?

i just have some pc fans i think at 45 cfm 3 of them. idk what light baffle is but i have about 150 watts of cfls i use power strips and socket conects to power them

Light baffle is what keeps light from shining out of the fans and intake.

hm i see i have one on my intake just made out of some foamboard stuff but non on my two outake. i just have an auto right now so light leak isnt a super problem but my closet isnt used during the day and thats when the lights are off in the box.

Ah, ok. My cab is out in my bedroom disguised as furniture. Unfortunately I haven't blocked the light leaking out so its got a good glow coming out in the middle of the night. Disturbs my sleep so trying to figure out how to block it for good

oh dang thats unfortunate mine glows somewhat alot cause the doors arnt fully sealed and the fan leaks. if i got mine fully sealed i could put it in a room as furniture its an old night stand thing or something

When I move I hope to be able to turn a closet into a grow room.
