light questions, 4x4x7 room

Need to limit heat and smell. Gonna do northern lights #9, bud from clone perp harvest.

So I'm going to use a 4x4x7 tent and a carbon filter and spit the tent with a shelf in the middle to do two cycles of 16 plants (one harvest a month). Problem is lights... I currently have saved 2 400w air cooled light systems for my prevous set up. I'm wondering if it would be too much heat to manage, I have to vent into my house. I was considering going with 3 4' flourescents per group of 16. I've never budded with flouros though, would that be a HUGE difference from using the 400w HPS? Think that using two 400s is overkill on heat output? If I use the 400w HPS I'm aware thats just the right amount of lumens for a 4x4 area and I could/would run air through them to control the heat.

Last grow show I had was a 10x6' room with 2x 1000w HPS and a 400w right in the middle. WAY too much heat.

What would it be like with the flouros? Bud wise? Big loss?

If I use the 400w HPS and ran aircooled would that be manageable? House square feet is 698 and circulation is GREAT. It's an old building so walls are thick, I have someone below and above..

It all depends on your ambient temps. With ambients in the high 60s, I cool 4000w hoods with 1 8" fan and keep rooom temps right at 80-82F. I'll have to turn on another fan or 2 come summer time with the A/C, but a good hood should cool real easy. Also another side note, this is not outside cold air im using, I'm pulling air from the same room I'm venting into in my basement. If you still have the fans that you used to cool 2400w, you should have plenty.

I imagine using the flouros would be quite the sacrifice. To get remotely same quality light out of the flouros, I imagine heat will be just as bad. Pure speculation however, no experience with flouros except a tiny one for seedlings. :/ The tiny flouro did blow my seedlings up, and kept my bad stretching under control if that is any help.

ill be more worried about how your gonna seal that devision in the middle .. light cannot leak through .... as for your lights your ok ... but pay close attention so you can dial in how much venting you need
