Light opinion please!!

I know that some where on this website is my answer but cant seem to find it SO SORRY FOR A STUPID QUESTION BUT.......This is my first grow and Im using a 100w led light for 3 plants. Im getting 3 more plants and a new tent but cant seem to find the right lighting options. HPS, MH, LED?????? Im kinda worried about the hps or mh being to hot. Money is not an issue and would like the best option available

go with 600 watt,imo,lumatek,dimmable ballast,you will love it...

Depending on what size tent you get,a 200watt to 600watt hps for flowering .But I`m a believer in floro bulbs for veggin.Also a good fan for exaust,also a small fan to blow on plants to strenthen stems.Good luck on your grow..bongsmilie

Go with a cool tube setup temp problems r usually out the door. What size you planning maybe? I use a 400 htg mh/hps

If money isn't a problem, go out and get a digital 1000w cool tube You could get a couple of pounds if not more out of that beast. It all depends on your grow area really. You should look into CO2 as well. Its kinda expensive but the growth increase would be phenomenal.

Definately depends on the size of the tent. I'm running a 1kW in a 4x4 which might be alittle overkill. But at the same time i've seen 2x600 in the same space. For best yield to power usage i'de recommend a 1kW in a 4x8 on a light mover.

The best to grow with is color changing LED lights.
I have developed a program that will emulate Sunrise to Sunset. Nothing is better than emulating the SUN!;-)

Go with a 600w digital conversion ballast - that will allow you to run both an MH (for veg) lamp, and an HPS (for flower) lamp. I hear Lumatek is the best. Get an air cooled hood for it, it will make the heat negligible.

Thanks everyone for all your imput. I think that I am going with a digital 1000w digital cooled air system. Another question is can a 4x4x6 mylar tent handle the heat? Any brands to watch out for? How far do they need to be away from the plants?

That 1000w will put out a lot of heat in that tent. A dimmable 600w Digital would be your best bet with proper ventilation IMHO
