PanHead, Hey What's UP????, Ya I have 5 of the Hydro Farm 4' Chain Track's. I have only had trouble with one. The trick is to get your hood to run good & straight. Before i new this, one of My hood's got crossed up, & When it went to the wall, the chain run's off a little motor, & the sprocket's are just pressed on the shaft, & that bitch started slipping. So I took it off & drilled a hole thruogh the sprocket & the shaft, Put a little pin in it, & it still running 5-year's later. I would say I have had Good Luck with then, EH.:joint::joint:

Spent the day installing & soundproofing 3 of the 4 light movers, installation was a snap but they are noisey lil suckers, the little rubber washers they give you to isolate the track from the ceiling are worthless,i threw them away & installed the tracks on a continuous peice of 1/3 inch thick neoprene rubber, quiet as a mouse now

The way you have to install them makes it difficult to use multiple tracks while keeping saftey a top priority,i'll end up spending tomorrow modifing my lights to work better with the movers,i have to rewire them in order to have the ballasts out of the grow room which is a must for me.

Hopefully i can have all the lights rewired & up & running tomorrow,i want to let the new system run for 48 hours with no power to the lights to make sure there will be no snags between movers.

Hehe,im smiling too,the moose turned out to be some very nice smoke & im glad im getting her back, she still smells sooooo good with the tiny lil buds i left on her while she regains her health.

Speaking of reflectors im going back to vertical lighting without reflectors on my next grow,im planning on having the vertical bulbs run just above & inbetween 3 seperate rows.

Sound's Great!!!~~~~~~ Can't Wait to see pic's of all in Motion.

That sound like a good Idea, about vert. light no hood's, & going down a row!!!. Bet you can get right on top of the canopy???

That's a good Deal wiring all the mover's together. I have what ever light & mover combo on same Timer. That work's good For Me.

Good luck on the Tweak'n & getting every thing just right, some time you have to put up & take down, ect, ect, ..........:joint::joint::joint::joint:

Yep,this one's gonna take a while to get organized, the wires from the lights have been tricky so far because they were so stiff which caused the lights to run down the tracks goofy,i picked up some really nice 12 gauge wire a few weeks back that is very flexible, hopefully the new wire will take care of the problems i had on my test run.

I spent the afternoon rewiring the lights,i used the pliable wire & it took care of all the snags that the lights were causing,an added benifit was that i added male & female plugs in between the ballast & the light, now i have a 25ft stretch out from the ballast to the socket which makes it very easy to keep those hot ass ballasts out of the room.

This room is comming along nice, the room is so damm bright i cant even be inside it without eye protection, the light movers have ran all day with zero snags, another 24 hours with no snags & i'll be satisfied.
