ok so im looking into some info on these two light movers, for a 4x8 bloom room that will carry 1kw HPS. I was wanting some advice/insight into these 2 models, 1st the hydrofarm chain driven model looks well made and definitly seems like it has plenty of power to pull a hood and the air ducting, supposed to take 20-30 min to run its 6 foot track an at 140ish $ . 2nd the light rail 3.5 6 rpm. this model has no chain and seems to be driven by wheels underneath the rail and is supposed to take 12-15 min to travel its rail this mover is also more expensive at 200 ish $ and im concerned this model might slip. i should add that neither of these will have to pull any major weight i will rig up the electrical cords and ducting in a manner that the motor wont have to drag them around. im leaning toward the hydrofarm because it seems better built "to me " and its cheaper, but i always value quality over price, and i also like the longer cycle time.

I second the intelidrives! I bought one and I love it!
Those chain driven rails are shit!

Being able to adjust timing on the rail helps heep an even canopy.

Plus you are able to keep your lights closer to the plants without burning them, light rails are the way to add more grow space without adding another light(more money).

co2 generators add more heat to your grow room.

First you must have a sealed room to run co2. That means no air exchanged inside the room. Which normaly means a seperate AC system.
Do you have those things in place?
If not i would work on that first, otherwise you are just wasting money.
I am currently getting 40 ozs give or take off a 1000w with no co2.
Want to sell one of those cap co2 controlers???? LOL J/K
I have been tweeking my room for over two years to get it dialed in right!

Spending lost of money on expensive equipment wonk get you big yeilds, trial and error and experiance will.

yea i have all that available but the situation i have been living in prohibits me from growing .. i used to live in california and learned alot from my buddys but that was 7 years ago and have just been biding my time buying nice grow supplys.. when i buy my house this summer fall ill be setting it all up and learning how to grow all over again...

yea i realize spending lots of money wont gaurantee me big yeilds but neither will crappy setup. so i just get the good gear to start with. also im not really aiming for a 40 oz grow "although i wouldent complain LOL" i just want super potent tasty organic bud .. the pot i get where im at now is nothing like it was in california 35 $ eight that stuck to my wall and you could smell me when i walked in a room with a bag. the stuff here its mostly mid grade not bad but always skimpy.. and i used to know a few dealers but its a small town they got a big grant for meth and whent and busted all the pot dealers .. theres still a shit load of meth "i fucking hate meth" and pills are also a big problem ... stupid pigs...
so the only way i get herb any more here is my buddy when he hears where to get a bag he lets me know, i have all ways had problems getting bud here but now its way worse that it ever was.

hoping that when im ready ill have a good plan and some folks here to help me because im ultra paranoid and i tell nobody what im doing. except here at riu and ill need help getting going.
