I'm not sure about the signature part. I haven't been here long either. If you can afford the heat I would also add in a few 6500k cfl's too and then switch them to 3000k in flower. as for the heat part a watt equals the same amount of heat if it's a led or a t5 or a hps. The good thing about T5 is you can stick a super close to the plants. I read a thread a while back where guys were doing strictly t5 grows. The yield wasn't there but they produced some amazing stuff.

Thanks for the info. I will look around for that thread. I did get the T5 flowering bulbs, btw. 3k I believe. Hopefully that will help.

Absolutely. I was just searching for some new t5's myself. Can't believe the cost of some of those fixtures. I figured 20$ per bulb/ballast and it's almost double that.
