Light dep vs indoor plant spacing?

I've searched and come up dry so if this has been answered someplace else before forgive me but I couldn't find it. I've never grown outdoor and was wondering if one took 4 plants vegged to the size of filling a 4x4 indoor space once flowered how much space would those same plants need in an outdoor light dep hoop house? Same? 5x5? More? I know conditions, soil, strain, etc, can change that some but I'm just looking for ballpark rough idea.

Yes I know I could grow them way bigger and it would be way less hassle without pulling tarp but I'd rather actually get a harvest then it all go moldy from the humidity going sky high in the fall.

When I plant fem seeds, I put my plants at least seven feet spacing. Anything closer you will reduce yield. These plants get 6 feet wide at the base for an average size plant. You don't want them crowding each other. I had a huge plant last year that was 8 feet dia at the base. When I plant non-feminized seeds, I space at 4 feet, expecting that about half will be males. This leads to problems, so I use fem seeds outdoors, now.
