Light cycle, outside growing

I know the light cycle is different all year around and your location, but it must be close to 12/12. Does that mean it will flower from seed? When would the plant be ready for harvest if i planted in early-mid april? I live in New England.

Many outdoor growers are confused by the light cycle...i once was too...but no,your plant wont flower becuz there is 12 hours of light, you cannot apply the same rules of indoor to outdoor, outdoor, your plant flowers when the days do get shorter compared to the days when its in veg, at most outdoors there is like 14 or 15 hours of sunlight at a certain time depending on your location, when the time starts to lessen during the fall, the plant is sent into flower...I have my plants out right now...and they are doing fine, and vegging with about 12 hours of sun, and the days will get longer and they will continue to veg until the days get really shorter, but then again i live in so cal where it never frosts, and rarley rains...so i can plant early

Damn, yeah i knew it was way longer than growing inside. But you could probably get 6+ foot plants outside no problem. Whats that, like 6 1/2 months of just vegging and not even counting flowering time. Thats sick, but i can't wait that long!

Yeah you just gotta let nature take its course...it will flower when it needs too, just dont start to late...Ive done grows where i started in like july and the plants stayed super short and bushy...but i actually got some decent bud...but you cant be doing no winter grows in England im guessing huh? Yeah Im trying for monsters this year, thats why im veggin for so long, but id say just start your plants when the sun is generally out everyday and it aint cold that much no more for a couple months...you could have your grow done in 4 months......but like i said i dont no how weather is over there, id reccomend outdoor, i love it, and plants get huge.

Yeah man, i think outdoor is defiantly the way to go. I'm thinking how i can get a few weeks of veg inside before moving them out. I just don't want them to die as a youngin. Then again, i just don't know if its worth the risk. Probably yield the same amount of bud if i just shock the seed and plant them in like 5 gallon buckets

bro you could totally start your plants indoor....a couple cfl's...or if you have any cool white fluorescent tubes...you can start em for a few weeks in there...easy as fuck...or if you have an hps or mh light...then your set! but im guessing you dont, anyways yeah you could start em and then throw em outdoor, it wont hurt em all that much, they will adjust to the sun...and the bigger the pots, the bigger the plant.
