Life without electricity. Would you survive?

This^^. I work on cars and trucks and do metal fab sometimes. Thermite would be nice for cutting thick plate my torch would have trouble with. Like 1"+. Or cutting up a car body for scrap, lay out some lines and light it, watch it fall into a dozen manageable pieces. But because one out of maybe 100 million people MIGHT do something, we can't even talk about this stuff.
I've used it to cut down a section of iron pipe fence on my ranch. I don't weld so no oxy torch and it was too far from power for the cutter.

As an example, yes. He stated very clearly what thermite was capable of doing and gave the recipe for it. Then he claims that no matter what, he couldn't ever get into any trouble for doing that. I simply showed an example, based on what he posted, that could in fact get him into trouble.

Ever since then, you folks have been living in denial, making very stupid post about sexual devices and in general talking out of your asses.

Post what you want. If it gets your ass in trouble, remember this conversation.
Come on.

You don't even have the story straight. I didn't post the recipe. Someone else did.

Lol. Go smoke a bowl. You got your panties in a wad.

I guess. Be careful and watch every word you say. Someone may use your words to rob an armored car.
I'll remember a recipe, and I'll also remember who posted a criminal and potential usage for said finished product
So that would make @TacoMac liable for giving someone the idea to use the recipe on an armored car.

Maybe we will be cell mates.

Here's the problem with that: I posted a scenario in which he would be found culpable based on information already posted. My intent is clear: to prevent people from posting such material and warn them of the repercussions if they do.

His, and many others intent on this thread is also equally clear: to blow shit up and not have the slightest responsibility for doing so.

It wont be me facing so much as a "have a nice day" comment from any law enforcement.

Betcha it would be. Many practical, innocuous reason for using thermite; then yours about taking out a Brinks truck.

No. Blowing stuff up was never mentioned. Thermite would and is handy for all kinds of legit legal reasons.

The only person to bring up nefarious acts was you.

Let's review:

Use a street sign, another piece of metal and a piece of rubber for a trigger for a bomb or trap.

You use a battery and the sign, rubber and metal. The rubber is put between the sign and metal plate. The electric is run and trap set.

You then later shoot the sign. When the bullet penetrates the sign, rubber and metal plates it completes the electric circuit, setting off the trap.
Right there he's giving instructions on how to build an IED that can kill someone.

Then the topic turned to thermite and that leaving instructions could not ever get you into trouble. I simply showed examples where it could and that it should be avoided.

I'm not the nut job planning on blowing people up. The guy that's already done time is.

Then why did you focus on thermite recipe? That is an important consideration, you focused on thermite, not triggers or IEDs.

Hell, that's every single person on here who either directly or indirectly admits to growing pot. Regardless if your state legalized marijuana or not. Federal law, says that it is illegal. You ain't gotta snitch on us. We are claiming our ninth amendment rights.

Calm down man, you are too excited
I'm not the least bit excited.

Since you can't be bothered to read, I'll let you in on it. It was HE that brought up thermite. Not me.

I posted this:
Incorrect.

Let's say someone in a group conversation wanted to burn down a building but didn't know how to go about doing it. You share with him a paper you find online showing how to effectively burn down a building. The person then follows those directions you gave and burns down the building.

You are guilty of multiple crimes including, but not limited to: conspiracy to commit arson and accessory to arson.

You supplying the plan makes you part of the crime. If not for you, that person doesn't have those instructions. Were people to die in that fire, you would also be charged as an accessory in their deaths.

It amazes me how stupid people really are these days.
To which he replied this:

What ever man. That may be true but not necessarily right.

Nothing wrong with him sharing Thermite recipe. Its readily available and accessible on the webz.
That's why I posted the thermite example to begin with. You people have been peeing your pants ever since.
