So I smoked PCP the first time a couple of months ago.. I documented the second time here on RIU kinda.. @Football . I guess I will try anything once.. Recently tried acid for the first time in 15 years.. But that's a different story.
So like anything in my life, I did a bunch of research on the subject "after" I tried it..I had misconceptions on PCP.. My first one was that PCP was horse tranquilizer.
Second was PCP is a powder.
Third was PCP was long gone after the 80's
Fourth is after smoking it I would become a superhuman zombie that strips down naked and fights cops..
Here is what I learned.. PCP was not a horse tranquilizer but a sedative used for humans in the 60's but was shortly banned after PCP caused people to freak out. But PCP is still made to this day in clandestine labs mainly from the west coast. Chemically from my knowledge it appears to be a simple molecule make-up.
It goes by the name wet, sherm, and embalming fluid. Which a huge misconception, is that PCP has nothing to do with embalming fluid, while formaldehyde is extremely dangerous and smoking a joint dipped in it, will most likely kill you..
And for PCP to be turned into a powder takes a little bit of work. So the chances of seeing it in powder form are very unlikely.
PCP is also rarely seen outside of the ghetto. Not to sound racist but is mainly used by black people, it's not exactly what you would see used by lawyers and doctors as you might see with marijuana or cocaine. I had never seen it myself until I stayed in a ghetto.
I have done PCP four times in the last year. I first tried it because I thought it was like acid or shrooms, but it's not at all it's more like ketamine or like a opiate. It does tunnel your vision like ketamine. And has a god awful smell like straight chemicals. It was not addictive like cocaine or methamphetamine. And I did not flip out and become a drug zombie. And the high was very strong, but easy to snap out of.
But at the same time, strong drugs for strong minds..
I do not condone in the use of hard drugs, but I have always been experimental. I will most likely never use the substance again. Was it enjoyable? Yes and no, it definitely isn't what I would consider as a party or recreational drug. But I could see it as a rudimentary anti-anxiety maybe even as a pain killer.
I have only done it low doses in a controlled environment. In a liquid form as a smokable substance I see it hard to over do, as eventually you could no longer hold what ever it is you are smoking.
Now all cigarettes taste like PCP to me. My best advice is not to try it. And if you're scared that a joint that you smoked has been laced, is it will not taste right and will taste very chemically.
