Let's Grow.

Strain: BooBerry Cookies by Ethos Genetics
Plants: 2
Grow Room: 2x2.5 tent in a closet.
Light: Spiderfarmer sf1000
Soil: FF Happy frog with a tiny sprinkle of Better start at the bottom.

This is my 3rd time around growing. I was somewhat successful in my 2nd attempt which had poor yield. I think I let the soil get too acidic and didn't feed the microbes properly. I don't have room to mix my own soil, or make my own ewc so everything I get is premade. I will only be growing organically (for now).

1.5 weeks after sprout:

This one sprouted first. So the other girl is a bit of a runt.

The most challenging part about this grow is how much my temp fluctuates between day and night.(and how much I don't want to buy a heater and pay even more for my electric bill.)

Anyone who wants to post and chat I don't mind.

I'll be transplanting in the next few days. I can't wait for these beautiful babies to explode.

Notes: little bit of curling on leaf tips.

I didn't transplant yet. I decided to let her grow more into the pots. I'll either transplant Tuesday, or maybe wait another week. Got a little bit of purple in the stems but I imagine it's from the slightly colder nights. Same with the bit of leaf curling. Besides that she looks like she's happy.

Today I watered in with a tiny bit of water soluble RAW brand kelp. I've never tried it but I think everything will go well.

Accidentally let the humidifier empty out. Only spent a couple hours in low humidity.

You're funny. You're exactly like I used to be. Checking, rechecking, eyes on all the time, trying to keep up, control every aspect of the lights, soil water humidifier, dehumidifier......it's fun isn't it???? Just remember, plants suffer from too much love over anything else.
Let us know how it's going???

I actually just have a schedule of checking in on my plants once or twice a day. Refilling or emptying things, checking to see if they're thirsty. I'm getting a lot better at being hands off and observing.

They're healthier now, I hadn't updated cause I always forget to take pictures or even remember that I started a grow journal haha. I'll update later today when they wake up.

Ooof I get so busy with life I forget to update this thing. So in the time I've been off the overachiever died, probably due to light stress, over watering, and the early transplant. But her sister recovered really nicely. I'll be adding a heater for the tent to up the temps.

Nice healthy green new growth, and I removed some of the already dead leaves.

After the big sister died I planted another just in case I fucked around and killed another plant lol

I noticed this in my last grow as well. I transplanted my babe and there's a nice healthy root mass in the bottom of the pot but in between is loose dirt. I bottom feed all my plants. Is there a reason the roots just kind of die in the middle? Too acidic? The main root mass seems really healthy.

Here's the baby after transplant.

She's been burned(x2?) and stunted. But I decided to flower her anyways. This is my first time using dry amendments. I have the fox farm line. I'm gonna replant another one of these beans with a better plan in mind after I either flower or accidentally kill this one. But I'm still learning, and I will make these big ass bags work until they're empty.

Top dressed some happy frog mixed with ewc, and ff fruit and flower dry amendments 04.08.24. Here she is a couple days later. You can see some of the nutrient burn but she looks healthy. Purple could be many things I'll just see how things go.

Today I watered in some recharge and potassium silicate. She's looking good, getting plump. Some of the branches fall short because of the burn, but I think I'll get a couple nice healthy colas to try from her before I go for round 2.
Her leaves where praying up, so I lowered my light a bit to give her around 700ppfd. I'll check in a little while to see how she is.
