I love debates over stimulating subject like that. I can see how it would be exhausting though, I've had a few of those "heated" ones with my brother's as of lately. Keeps me on my toes

Just something greater than yourself. That could be science itself. I have been on both sides of the fence and I can honestly say that I do believe in a greater power. One that is supreme to myself and everyone else. That could very well be the infinite power of science for all I know. The God I worship is one of many faces, he has no judgement of me or you, only of the weak and strong.
EXACTLY so they should update their 12 steps to include everyone not restrict to just GOD...not everyone understands that GOD can mean anything.
that was my point that the steps are literally just morally based religious wise and they should include others so that alcoholics can indeed recover without having to give themselves to GOD ya know?

no more than mine girl..it's all gravy I've come to understand that there are certain things we have no control over. It's simply a matter of going out with dignity and knowing you did your part. Okay yeah, I'm high and drunk now..lol but seriously, just stick to your guns. Be passionate about what you actually are, the rest will fall into place. Just stay positive, it isn't so hard when you got great folks like these around here, never met a better bunch of folks.
