if you are having root issues make sure the res is light proof, no organic nutes, and run bennies with dechlorinated water.

im running dutch master zone, not having any root issues other than waiting for them to get bigger so the plant can start growing. I do dtill need to light proof the lid will be using reflective tape.

i had a clone i put straight into a dwc 5 gal just like once the roots hit water it explodes
yeah, im already seeing new growth, i have turned my big light off and just have a small CFL 26w hanging there. figure i want it to stretch a bit and develop roots then ill switch the 400 back on, then bump it up to 600 for flower.

thanks for stopping in!! hopefully this thread gets a little more interesting soon.

this is from 2 weeks ago. PPM is 600 and the PH is 6.0

I hope a week from now this plant looks alot different. it has a decent amount of roots going now and should take right off. IMG_7829.JPG

hey bud, looks like it is going pretty slow.... that seedling should be way bigger. 4-5 months it should be chopped down in your bong by now.

I have had some runty shit sprout that was just completely pathetic and would not grow... if this is your only hydro plant, I think you would have a lot more fun and see better results starting new seeds. you should see high vigour and daily growth in dwc.

keep your seedling going... but you can get new seeds to that point in 2 weeks from germ, and I bet they would overtake your current seedling the third week.

this is not my first rodeo and the plant is right on track for the hell i have put it through. if you read through the thread to see the turn of events that have taken place and the reasoning behind why im trying to nurse this one back to life you would understand a bit more.

i am finally seeing daily growth and the root system is also growing daily. if i were to start a new seed it would set me back another 3 weeks.

a new set of leaves has opened up. seeing noticable growth now daily, even seeing noticable growth from the time i check in the AM to the time i check before bed.

debating a rez change and may swap over to a 5 gal bucket instead of the tote. I have decided i am going to let this one get about a foot tall then flower, should be no more than 2 weeks (i hope).

i will take a cutting and get that going under a few CFL so by the time this current one is done i can start training and flowering another.
