Sorry for temporarily hijacking, I swear I'm not trying to be egotistical, I just want to preempt any bullshit about COBs.

For those who keep saying that watt for watt, COBs can't compare to HPS, here's what 241w between 3 COBs have been getting me in two months' time in veg, 241w putting out the equivalent of a 600w HPS's PPFD:

That's what I'm talking about 1/2 the power usage for the same or better results, pays for the start up costing pretty quickly

Looking Great!

I also install an inline switch with the Pot. This way I can take the pot out of the circuit with a flip of the switch. This opens the dimming leads and you get a little extra light. Also, none of my pots are ever exactly 100K. Mostly 92-96K.

Here is the mini-switch I use. It's a 3 position switch so you only need 2 leads, one of the outside and the middle.

Just putting the finishing touches on my own light, and have to say your framework is so much better looking than mine.
Tried to slap a coat of paint on it (another activity outside my usual comfort zone).
Presenting it soon here... but what I want is for people to read it and say... "Shit, I can make a better light than that..." and then do it...

Light it up...

Alright,, as you may know,, most of the cob builders who Sale these things on here, are putting 10 am fuses on the AC side of things,, but several of us have been putting fuses on the D C side of our lights,,
So for Safety sake,, i am fusing both the AC side and the DC side,, so what i need to know ,, and maybe @Abiqua or @CobKits could suggest a fuse size for 4 cobs in series the DC side,, and should i run a 10 am on the AC like the production panels? IMG_0596.JPG
