Lemon Skunk, White Widow, The Church, Bblgummer, OG Kush #18

Retroactively starting a journal for this years grow. So I sprung for some official beans this year, the second time the 'tude has come through for me, I highly recommend them. So just a quick run down, I've been a novice/hobbyist grower for about 4 years now, I started indoors and after year 2 I moved outdoor and haven't looked back, I've learned quite a bit and still learn more every day I play with my girls. The best year I've had I pulled around 1.2Lb's off a bagseeed plant and had another 8' that was clearly a sativa I was just too lazy to lug water out to her often enough and she cooked 2 Years ago I grew some a lemon skunk auto as well as A Diesel with decent results but I had a late start and they were short.
So this year I've tried to get everything lined up, and still failed, but I've got some plants that look promising for this season and I'm hoping that with some diligence I can have some quality smoke for the next year or 2!

Anywho, on to 2013...

The Lineup (All Feminized)

Greenhouse Seeds: Lemon Skunk, The Church
Female Seeds (brand): White Widow x Big Bud, Bubblegummer
Reserva Privada: OG Kush #18

Germinated with 100% success using tap water and pieces of paper towel in aluminum foil covered shot glasses, all in less than 36 hours.

Planted directly into solo cups and all popped through the soil within 3 or 4 days.

When Plants had 3-5 nodes I topped them all and attempted to root the cuttings, my 2nd real attempt ever...

Kept under 2 23 watt 6500k Fluorescent bulbs 24/0 for the first 2 months or so, when the weather permitted I put them outside during the day and brought them back in at night. Finally a few weeks ago we got to a point where I felt I could chance it and leave them out for good. ( I tried this last year and ended up with plants that were full flower mode by late April)

I re=potted the plants from solo cups to 1 gallon pots when I could see roots in the drain holes of the cups, and again from 1 gal pots to 3.5 gal pots about a month later.

(I experimented with trimming back a lot of the foliage when I topped, maybe not the best idea as it seemed to take my girls about 2 weeks to start new growth with vigor, but nevertheless I have a ton of budsites to show for it)

Plants have been outside for about 3 weeks now, just in the past week have I put my clones out also, 1 still in a solo cup and 2 in 1 gal pots. (Bubblegummer, White Widow and Church, respectively)

Well another week has passed, about half of the girls are in flower unfortunately but not too heavily so there is still hope they'll revert back to veg. Either way, I suppose I was lucky enough to have started them back in February so they are at least somewhat mature. I've been bending the colas outward from the beginning to try and help light penetration and even out the canopy, i accidentally broke a main stem on my Bubblegummer this week, it's been taped up and seems to be ok but definitely stunted it.

I am hoping to move them to ground pretty soon, I've got 5 holes dug at the present so the best 5 will get those and then I'll hop to some more after that. I re-potted my WW clone into a 5gal just because I had it laying around and was repotting my bubblegummer clone as well (not pictured in last weeks lineup).

My holes are roughly 2x2x2.5, up to 3x3x2, because I dig sloppily. I figure most are around about 30 gallons though and ill be filling with my own mix of soil and nutes.

Alright doods, my girls are starting to take shape, I am hoping to get them in the ground before the end of the month save for the clones, I'm still debating on topping those but the white widow is flowering and I've had enough trouble taking cuttings at a proper stage I really don't know about one in flower...

Does any body know if Sativa influenced plants are just more droopy than indicas? Or do I have some sort of something going wrong with my lemon skunk? She's never stood proud like the rest of my fleet but she gets about the same treatment, maybe a little more water as her roots seem to be ridiculously thirsty some days.

Anyway, you guys never speak, maybe I've got comments blocked unknowingly, anyways, this is as much for me as it is you, but I hope someone is out there to enjoy!

Nice looking plants!

Well it's been a little over a month since my last update. All the girls are officially back in veg mode, looking good, perhaps as big as anything I've ever grown, so I'm excited!

I apologize for the lack of order, so many files its a nightmare to sort them and I'm not waiting to upload them again, so just sift through them and enjoy!

Alright so that last post was a pain in the balls, sorry about that. Here's an update of all the girls as they are today. I went in and clipped a ton of the lower foliage that was just never going to mature, I also saw a lot of mold/rot from the early flowering and those buds kind of going to shit whilst on the plant.
Anyway, that's what's up with most of the leaves and such you see around the stems. Also pulled up a lot of that invasive grass from around the bases, I think that may be a culprit of my mold issues. Holding water/preventing airflow. Maybe we straightened it out today, we shall see, probably less than a month here before my girls go into full flower mode!!

Alright, so all the ladies are starting to push out pistils in bunches again, I'm pretty pumped for the Bubblegummer and Lemon Skunk, they're definitely my 2 healthiest. I'm loving the Church's shape, but as you can see I'm going to have some issues with her. If anyone can tell me what I've got on my hands via my very blurry pictures I would be very thankful!

The WWxBB I think is going to be a little whispy, after the reveg she really never settled on any solid colas, I guess I should have done some pruning
