Strain: "Leia OG" ~ (Skywalker OG x Stomper OG) from Gage Green
Growth: Passive hydro/pot culture grown in 15 litre pot. With 57 days veg and 68 days flowering. This strain is quite slow to veg at first untill they've established a decent rootball then growth comes out thick and strong, topping is required to get them to bush and they respond great to training methods too. They like a heavy dose feeding and also drink up quite a lot once they're in bloom. Extra N, cal & mag and they do very well. The stretch is around x3 of veg size and they are very managable in height and hold themselves up very well with no extra support needed. The flowers have a standout unique look and start the THC production early into flowering. Definately a 10 week flower time from seed, but from clone will probabbly finish in 9, push to 10 weeks for maximum potencey depending on how strong you like it.
Lights: Flower~ x3 - 600w HPS (1800w), Veg ~ x2 - 300w CFL "Blue" (600w)*
Nutes: Full CANNA Coco nutrient/additive line.
Yield: 1 plant ~ just under 3 ounces of dried/cured buds.
Bag Appeal: Tight cluster buds, that have a sparkling hint of extra colour to the green resin encrusted stacked flowers. With bright amber hairs shooting from all points in the bud. Off the scale in beuity, has a sharp & striking overall look.
Smell: Very strong, hits you straight away with a striking sherbert/candy aroma with hints of citrus and pink grapefruit with a dank fueled undertone. Break the buds apart and a more sour edge takes over the senses. Simply gorgeous!!
Taste: Upon inhale there's a soft flavourfull bite of bitter/sweet grapefruit, thats not overly fruity but carries more of a candy fueled taste experience. Along with a citric sour edge taking over on the exhale that stays around long after. This has a very unique "OG" like flavour but has less of that fueled lemon pine and more of a sour citrus like grapey texture & feel. A very tastey smoke all round and is thick and full of complex flavours.
The High: Builds up and comes in soft and slowly at first as I toke down the joint. Then about half way down a warm relaxed state starts to set in strong and my head now feels all buzzed out & fuzzy. It's very strong, intense and a pure pleasure smoke. I'm in stoners heaven!! The effect is not all on the head though and the warm fuzzy feeling starts to expand out and down to the feet and all around my body, I feel totally at ease but my mind is racing with a creative energy. Once the build up grabs you the effects are very strong and hard hitting. I'm totally buzzed, this is not a smoke for light weight tokers!!
Lasts around an hour till next hit and has little tolerance build over time, pure headstash quality and did I say ~ Very strong!!
Comments: Out of this world looks and aromas, easy to grow and pure AAA potent smoke. Gage has taken the "OG" to the next level with Leia and she's Mos-Def 9.5/10. I have found my princess, nuff sed.
