    Yeah.. Could be. I found out recently that my parent's friend has been growing a marijuana tree for the past 13 years, keeping it in vegetive stage and just using it as a fast growing hobby. He is a vietnam war veteran, and a master gardener. Could his plant possibly be some rare strain of weed, even extinct after all these years!!?!?

    No, this is very possible. Just keep the plant taken care of after harvesting (prune dead leaves etc...) and the plant can essentially last for ever. You reckon you can get us any pictures?

    it could not possibly be extinct. extremely endangered maybe... but extinct is out of the question.

    Why would you be so sure of that, of course its possible, not all to likely but after all the cross breading etc his strain could by now be changed so much that his is the last one with the original genes

    I'm not sure how big the tree is, but he mists it multiple times a day and went to school to become a master gardener so I know its taken care of. Definently going to ask him about it when he comes up this March, and possibly get some clones ;}

    I would definitely like to get a look at that. Is it grown indoors?

    About 2 years ago I read about a super strain in Vietnam. It was rumored to have reached heights of over 18 feet with yields proportional to that. The only downside was that it had a flowering period of almost 14 weeks.

    because it exists - extinct things no longer exist. if there is only one - then it is endangered and will soon be extinct (since it doesn't have any of its own type to mate with)....

    also - i though marijuana died after it dropped its seed - is this not true?
