Legal To Buy From Growers With Medical License?

well i dont know if anyone has ever been to budtrader.com but its like classified ads for weed. but is it really legal for me as a card holder to buy... well donate and to receive marijuana from someone???

I believe it is legal a grower to get "donations" from a person for his time, effert, cost etc.

In Ca, you have to have a valid doctor's recommendation and the grower has to have a valid doctor's recommendation to obtain our meds from them. It's safest to only obtain meds from a grower who's part of a genuine collective, not just an individual who has the recommendation. If it's an individual, they should probably be a caregiver for you, and that involves more than just growing for you. Stay with the collectives offering meds and be safe. There are a lot of cops who are on that site, looking for violators of Prop 215 and SB420. Watch out. So far I've only seen posts from Sellers not buyers, who have been arrested after answering an ad, or posting an ad, though, so you're probably safe obtaining meds from the site. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Always verify that they have the valid recommendatoin before meeting them, and you should be safe.

I haven't seen any posts like that from anyone who was obtaining meds, though, so it seems they're only after providers who are trying to move large quantities without regard to legal status.
The way to avoid any trouble is to always make sure the one providing the meds has a valid doctor's recommendation and is with a real collective. Then it should be fine.

Just be sure the seller has his card, and you got yours. Ask for the patient number and the verification phone number. Verify it first, and if they ask the same of you give them the info. After you both are verified you should be good to go. Dont go out and buy 10lbs of weed your first time, get a very low amount, Pigs are lazy as fuck.
