Legal Security Plants

Hello there, I leave a window open for my grow room to get fresh air. My neighbors only come on weekends sometimes. I wanted to grow some plants under that window, so they smell nice or whatever rather than the stank.

I already grow catnip and catgrass, but they dont smell and are very small. Im not a gardener, so cant take care of anything too difficult.

Ok my man, Ill take a look into that. I think flowers can be very effective for odor control.
Going to buy some this weekend.

The problem you are going to have is that most flowers only bloom at specific times during the growing season, so you may have to buy a few varities. Nicotiania is very fragrant and could cover the smell. You should try something like autumn clematis. Very powerful fragrance, and prolly blooms around the same time your other plants are in flower.

Good answers guys thanks for taking the time. Definitely looking into this stuff, skunk grass. Sounds good haha, looking at lilac as well.

Look up Society Garlic plant. They are sort of a grass with a flower. They look nice and are inexpensive. They smell exactly like skunk, especially when you trim them back. You can just blame it on the grass.
not a bad idea but I'm not sure I like the idea of growing a plant that smells like skunk, as it may be the garlic plant that the neighbours are thinking is MJ

I'm growing a few flowers along side my MJ plants, with the thought the flower smell could alter the odor enough that nobody can say for sure what kind of plants they are smelling

I have also have an herb garden, sage and rosemary are very fragrant as are my mint plants they may not cover the smell totally but yum!

Spanish mint and Apple mint both grow tall and like weeds. Both are ideal for mojitos... Who doesn't love mojitos?

My plan is to grow a whole swath of lavender right under where the exhaust vent lets out on the side of my house.

just grow some jasmin or some other wild flower that smells intensly in the grow room they will mask the smell but your head will hurt from the smell as well

Just plant it outside the window. When/if they ask, point them to the Society Garlic.

I havnt had the need as my carbon filter works pretty well. I'm growing organic now and am worried it could wreak. Its the winter though and cant grow outside, will figure something out.
