The blackstar 240 runs i think 270.
The one in the link you provided sounds great and i think i will just cough up the cash to see if i like it or not.
I will just wait until next week or the following week and spend that money for it.IM either looking at that or the 180 they have..Thanks for the link.Is this the same company you are getting yours from?
:leaf:I ordered the 180w from them.:leaf:

Free shipping, mine was $289, I swear they upped the price to $309 right after I ordered it.

It should get here tomorrow afternoon, then I'll take some pics once it's all set up.
Alright so i guess ill see how yours do and i will get it within 2 weeks or so.Bills kicked my ass and trying to move is preventing me from getting it right now.But i will get it.

So then you will add it in your thread then right?
I will subscribe right now.I def ant to try a led light and i dont want to waste my money on a bullshit one since they are all expensive but i will see whats going on with the 180 or the 300.They are only a 100 dollar difference and 120 watt difference will see but i look forward to seeing how yours do

:leaf:Yea, in the thread I linked up there. I'll probably post it in here too, since it's relevant. If I had more cash I would have gotten the 300 instead, but I have to start somewhere. As far as I can see, those lights are the only all 3w led panels I've found. A lot of others incorporate 1w leds or 2w, it is best to go with 3w right?:leaf:

From the little knowledge i gained from leds yes its best to go with the 3w diodes if im not mistaken thats what they are called

Yes I have the 550W as a potential replacement to the 600HPS. I am currently using it to veg the moms but can honestly say I think it will rock the space, just the veg spectrum with the UV's seem to give me a headache just hanging around the moms, and when the flower spectrum is on by itself it is as red as fuck!!! The growth under the veg has been much quicker than under my flouros and the leaf development has been much bigger.

The 260W I linked I think run 160W with both spectrums on and has a core coverage of 3x3 which I think beats the blackstar at 2x2.

Either way I like mine, it is well made and Benjamin the guy who owns the joint is a decent guy, he will probably give you a discount, he gave me one.

Which is true but ill wait for results to comment more.

I will add that the manager of the Hydro Store did say that an LED "would" be a good addition to an HPS to supplement the light. But I left that part out because basically "any" additional lighting is an upgrade (according to him). In other words if you throw in some CFL's, an MH, LED or whatever. Light is light.

I would be willing to supplement my 150HPS with one of those 90W "Prosource" UFO LED lights. I confirmed with those guys that the "90 Day no questions asked" return policy is legit. That seems more than fair. And of course that warranty applies to all their lights (90W, 180W, 300W . . . etc).

LEDS are cheap and may offer specific color spectrum in the white, blue, orange and red but lacks in lumens. I found CFL 26watt with 1750 lumens a combo pack or two for five dollars. I have two chamber one with an LED one without both have multiple CFLS.The one With the LED is much warmer. I recommend investing into CFL over LED.

Yeah listen to this guy, he seems to have done some hard core research, invest in CFL's, you know the ones you get in combo packs!!
