Hi
Equipment
Grow area inches 50L 25W 82H.
Maximum growth area height inches 60
8 2ft LED strips 3500k 3000k
Ink bird temperature.
Ink bird humidity.
6" exhaust fan
Auto pots.
Tower fan.
I will be switching to flower stage hopefully Friday, this will be the first time with LED strips. Looking for some advice.
1. What would be the best height from canopy, at the moment my height is 20 inches.
2. Driver parallel, home run wiring I believe it's called, voltage 40v, amps 10,only trouble this is driver can't turn it down a lot if I turn it half way the light isn't that bright, so it seems to be all or nothing.

Can you provide a bit more info on the strips and driver?
Hi

sorry for the delay.
led strips 50w
meanwell driver HLG-480H-48A.

I could be wrong but I think 20 inches from canopy is to high, I don't want to much stretching because Maximum growth area height 60 inches, but if I turn my driver down lower than 40v strips look dull to me, but like I said it's my first time with these strips.

Are there 2 rows of diodes on these 2 foot strips? If there is a part # and brand name visible on the strips, post it on here, or close up picture if possible..

All my paperwork and receipts for LED strips are in same place where plants are, plants are sleeping so sorted out tomorrow.
Thanks

Way too much light for a 4x2, you'll definitely need to dim it.

I thought it was too high.
Like I said I have set the voltage to 40v, I haven't got too much to play with.
What would be your recommendation height from canopy and voltage.

Ok, those are 46v strips. You'll want to set the V on that driver to 46, and use the current level adjustment for dimming....
Do you have those strips mounted on any sort of frame? They will need thermal management of some type.
