well apparently seedlings cant take the led at full power spectrum too strong... so was wondering if i had it at 30cm and it was giving out 50k lumens it might be too intense cant seem to find anything on it

If they start to bleach then you know they're waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too close.
They look good to me as is. So I suppose you're doing it right. Looks like very tight internode spacing.

I've done it before with a HPS on some bagseed.
I've never used an LED (thinking about investing in a panel for early vegging though)
I seem to remember a thread and the guy did some totally decent DIY LEDs. He got hit with a little light bleaching at first.

@MonkeyGrinder is it a good thing to have tight internode spacing or should i raise the light a little so it sprouts abit more???
I would go even 60cm if you don't want them super bushy.... but if 30cm is vegging fine and they don't seem stretchy, keep it there. Flower about the same height or even 18".

@Abiqua I think i might go 50-60 just because the space between nodes are so small a bit too bushy for my liking
but who knows i will try thiis one this way first then c in ma next setup what i change... i just potted 3autos yesterday tooo

I am trying to select for auto trait, then isolate and hopefully reproduce, been awhile since I have seen an early flower trait, pisses me off since i tossed one I had :peace:

Well do you want a short bush or taller bush? Some people like em small and compact. Especially if they're working with a small space. If space isn't an issue then you could raise the lights no problem. But they'll stretch out come flower time anyways.

Do shorter bushes produce less yield or do taller bushes produce more yield?? or does it just depend on how u train the plant.. im planing on a scrog grow just so canopy can be level
