I'm just wondering what your end game is here footclan. Why bother starting arguments on a thread dedicated to promoting knowledge about a new growing technology? If we all smashed our panels and went back to using hps would that make you happy? What are you trying to prove? Do you really think HID lighting will remain the gold standard for indoor mj cultivation?

Have you ever actually grown with a legit led panel? If not, kindly step off our dicks and let us have a civil conversation. If you want to back up your rants get whatever wattage hps light you currently use, get a led panel that is comparable and do a side by side grow.

you can type lol and fail all day, your lack of maturity is painfully clear to all. Closet growing is my hobby and I've found what works for me. Those plants are solid autos for six weeks and comparable to any grown under hps at that age. Even if they were the largest autos on the planet you would sill have something petulant to say.

its not new its been around for awhile and thats my point....when cds became absolite then people moved to Ipods just like when someone comes up with something better then HID then EVERYONE will follow...but they havent its not NEW its been around awhile now long enough time that if it really was the "answer" to all our grow light problems then we all would have jumped on board by now..... i mean how many decades do LEDS need to convince us all that they are better?? lol

Its funny how you guys talk mad shit on me but then act like im the only shit talker in here....lol kinda like picking on the fat kid just cause you can..like i said it dosent matter what i say you will just say im wrong and cant type and bla bla bla........non of which means anything but bla bla bla

well, "lol", 3 and 5 watt chipsets in led grow lights have not been around for decades. 1w chipsets suck, period. That is why this tech gets a bad rap. Also, the ability to target specific wavelengths has improved since leds first hit the market. Ten years ago there were no 12 band led lights. Technology evolves, unlike some people who post on this thread.

when vendors start coming in with LED grows that out do the HPS then ill do a side by side....untell then i dont need to bother like i said i have used LEDs before i use them for veg and cuttings but they have there place and thats there place...... when something comes out that matches the preformance ill be happy to follow just how i threw out my cds ill throw out my HID lights......

I love LED's, wait until you see my Christmas light display in a few months. Other than that, they are not worth the cost...hopefully that changes b/c they will be the future.

all i got to say is im just about finished my first led run and i was using a light that runs at like 60-80 true watts pluss some side cfl lighting(which blew nuts) and im gonna pull close to 2 oz's and i had some major problems going on earlier in my grow....... GPW= around 0.5 or more ....... not to fucking shabby , if you worked out the gram per kilwatthour that shit would be nuts so try and hate on that haters.

you think that by claiming that you work at a dispensary and a hydro shop we should respect your opinions when you don't respect ours? I've been to my fair share of hydro shops and dispensaries to know that more times than not the employees don't know shit or just they're just trying to pitch you certain items or products. That's one reason I couldn't fucking care less where you work. The other reason is that taking your attitude and places of work into consideration, I can make a safe generalization that you are a lowlife. And, FYI, typing "FAIL" when you mean to say "failed" or "failure" only makes you seem more ignorant. Next, on my to do list, enter FootClan's name to be ignored...

LOL its a "saying" , like " you fail" why are you so concerned with spelling and typos..... When you talk to someone in person do you correct them if they mispronouce something?? do you stop them in med sentence and pronounce the word proper to them?? do you do that??? lol so if you dont do it to people in person why do you feel the typos have more meaning to them when typed and not said out load?? i mean it just dosent make sense why someone would keep defering to typos as if that as anything to do with anything......

Al it realy shows is how weak minded you are....instead of beating me with logic and facts you simpy say " oh well what your saying must be wrong because you mis spelled some words.....LOL

thats like me saying the earth is roand and you saying no its not roand it round...who cares the end result was still the same ..... so in closing anyone who defers to spelling and typos as some verification that the person is wrong is a EPIC FAIL..............

yes i do its called logic and commen sense........If my friend works at a safeway them id assume he knows more about safeway then me.....If someone works at Red lobster id submit to the fact that they probably know more about red lobster and if someone works in the cannibas industery then id submit that they probably know more about the cannibas industery then someone who dosent ....so to answer your question yes i do that that by claiming that i work at a despensary and a hydro shop (which i do) gives me the right to say i know more then the average person ...sorry but thats only logical.....

i will however admit that lots of hydro stores and dispensary's do not have very knowladgable staff ive been to many shops and stores that are like what you where refering to so ill give ya that.....but still dosent change the fact that somone who does something for a living is in most cases has a better understanding of there choosen field over someone whos not in that field..... further more i dont need to pitch anything i get payed by the hour i dont care what you buy what brand it is i dont care if you buy nothing at all.....

anyway how bout i tell everyone the plans for my next grow ........

its gonna be my same 4x4 tent , but im gonna throw 16 - 5 gallon buckets in there and have 3 12/12 from seed and or 12/12 from clone plants per bucket. i have a 250gallon per hour submersible pump that will connect to ha thick hose that will run throughout my tent than have smaller hoses running into each bucket. pump will probly only come on once a day ..... oh ya im going dwc so i will prefill my buckets to desired level. for lights im gonna have hope fully 3 or 4 290w spectra's and i plan to get a gram per watt or at least around that gonna be quite the spectacle :D.

Yeah im definitely for improving the current technology. LEDs, without a doubt, are the future.

And every "hydro" store I've ever been to has had some dumbass young bucks that don't know shit about shit.. I know 20x what most of them do, so if you believe everything your "hydro" shop guy tells you then your in for some BIG surprises.. Good luck with your led's but any person with any intelligence know that HPS and MH lights will out perform led's any day of the week...
