Dude this looks so much bigger then your last one, I’m following along as usual I’m about day 9 in flower.View attachment 4221084

I might have to invest In some of those qb 96’s might see how yours go first. What day are you doing a defoiliation?
Hi friend, this grow is slightly bigger than the last run. I added another rig to the room. I built a qb324 rig out of 4 qb324s hoping to cover a 5x5 area, 25sqft, but it turns out to be slightly under built. I went with the qb324s because HLG give me a screaming deal on them, I couldn’t pass up, after emailing back and forth about products. After running the rig through veg and the first few weeks of flower I could tell I had some shallow spots so I went back to the drawing board. I have decided to reconfigure the layout and add 2 qb96 to the rig. Now I’m just waiting for a few more parts to show up in the mail so I can assemble and put it in the game. Lol

Pic will be up shortly of defoliation. I do it between day 14-17. I like to get it done in one day but this round it took me 3 days. One screen a day, lol. My plants were a lot bigger than I though they were.

You plants look nice and healthy. I love how squatty they are!
Cheers they are looking on point everyday just gotta keep that water up and make sure I’m in the right range with the vpd. Another multi grow, haven’t found something I like that much I wanna run a whole tent of it. I will be putting these qb’s to the test, to see what yields I can get in a 4x4.

Prob have to hang the qb96 high if you drive it hard, but that’s with most LEDs. Qb288 and qb304 I’ve ran at 1050ma and had canopy 6” away and seen no burns
Right, but because the 288 has a wider spread, it could be run a bit lower (power-wise and height-wise). So if one were to run the 96 at around 150w, that would be roughly the same power your average single-288 runs, but to get the light to the edges of the canopy, the 96 is going to need to be hung higher, and hung higher at the same power means less PPFD on the plants. One could compensate by cranking the 96 up a bit, but that also means wall-loss would increase.

At least that's my layman's logic!

Well since I am caught up on posting pics for this current cycle I figured I’d share a pic of some beans I’ve popped. My buddy and I have been working on some breeding, call us THEE pollen chuckers if you’d like, but we named ourselves “okie and bean productions”

Here we have 3 different in-house produced strains. In the image below from left to right we have;

Left row - purple punch x sunset sherbert

Center row - purple punch x thin mint cookie

Right row - gg4 x purple punch

I can’t wait to see what these babies are packing!!

Agreed, I personally wouldn’t use 1 qb96 to light up a 2x2. I’d prob use 2 of them or 1 qb288 or qb304. That’s what makes diy so great you can build Anything to suite your needs with the components you have available. Cheers!

And here you can see the controversial intense leaf strip
Your nickname should be Antman or something which implies "He who can get in and out of spaces seemingly far to small for mortals"!!
Seriously, how the hell are you getting to all these girls?

I left enough Space to side step to get to the other side of the room. And pvc has a bit of flex to it so I can stand in between the trellis to get the backside. The pvc kinda warps around my body will I stand there and pick leafs. I’m not the smallest man in the world. 5’10” 170lbs, but antman works. You just have to get in there and get to work. Lol
