I currently have a 2x4x5 grow tent. with 2 Northern light plants in them.

using (2) 300 watt LEDs

they have been vegging for 6 weeks now. growing great.

All I have in the tent is a regular fan sitting in the corner. and I have the top vents open so air can escape. I do NOT have a exhaust fan.

Should I get one? are they necessary? what should I do? this is my first grow. I want to flower soon

I don't care for a carbon filter, smell is no problem for me. need suggestions!

Unless you're supplying co2 yourself you want some source of air exchange so your plants get adequate co2 and oxygen.

Most people exhaust and use passive intakes to kill 3 birds with 1 stone - air exchange, environment control, and odor control.

If heat and odor are a non issue then a small duct booster fan will work perfectly. You're aiming to exchange the air in your tent every 3 min or less.
