i hope things bounce back bro.
please always mix the silica 1st before anything els!!! you will have issue if u dont mix 1st!

remember seaweed is the best thing u can give a plant and really helps with stress and putting green back into the plants. silica helps also..

I was gonna pick up some silica to see if it helps with my burning issues.... you're saying always mix it with the water first? should it set for an amount of time before other nutes are added?

SB-- sorry to jack... had to know!

ya just mix good in the water 1st before adding anything els. its very high PH and will lock out all ur other nutes in ur base nutes. if u mix something and the nute soup turn cloudy looking somethings not mixing right.

I think I may have figured out the delay in her as well as a few others in my 600 box.... Calbrated my PH pen and it was off significantly. My last 2 feedings were at 5.0-ish PH. Not happy with myself as I know I need to keep on calibration, especially since its a new(er) pen and I haven't used it very long.

Considering a flush tomorrow but I'm not certain yet, I may just throw some lime at her and ride it out. None of the others are effected as bad thankfully because flushing plants sucks bags of dicks.

Everyone check their pens regularly!

Yep, she's def locking out. This is not going well lol. Threw some lime at her and I will water her with some runoff and suck it out of there with a shop vac... Doubtful I will flush with 20 gallons of water. I will pull this pig out and toss her if she gets too sick and falls behind too far. I have 2 other plants in my veg that are just too damn big right now too so we'll see how this works out.

please do not throw her out.. i want to see that thing go til the end. so many bud sites and iv yet to see a straight led through flower grow. everyone always busts out the hid's after vegging and ruins the "led" journals. what kind of yields have you seen with the straight led?

No worries if I scrap her I will run another LED grow with a different plant / strain. I have an El Monstre that can't be stopped in veg right now, she would fill the screen in no time. I bought these lights specifically for flowering to keep the heat down and see what they can do. No idea what kind of yields I will get but at this rate I'll be lucky to get anything worth smoking lol.

Post some pics man! Like 20 of them! Don't give up on your plant!!
Its just a matter of me willing to accept less than average results. Sucks but I have to accept that now if I plan to finish her.... Or I can count my losses and start over since I'm only 2 weeks in. I will take some pics in the morning, although I'm afraid to look at her when I get up lol. She's not doing much except looking sick. She was ready for water today so I gave her some 6.5 PH water with some fast acting lime on top of the soil. I'm hoping that might help to stabilize the PH in the medium and get her back to growing. Its barely made any progress this week honestly, the flowers are very small and I'm losing leaves. A flush is what she needs but it would be a major PITA.

Calibrate your pens!

I will be taking pictures in the morning of the scrog PPP as well as the potential replacement if I decide to pull it which is El Monstre. I pruned a lot of dead/dying growth today off from her, still not happy with her bud production.

The EM is also a really nice shrub and would fill that screen up nicely. I've been forced to top it and crop it several times per week because she's too big for her space. Shouldn't have any trouble making just as many bud sites.

During storm Irene, a friend of mine lost all his plants. I told them they were dead, but he didn't give up on them. A month later, the plants turned into massive bushes. Yes, their flowering time increased by two-three weeks, but if I knew the quality would increase by the amount his did, I would kill all my plants and revive them. Sometimes, heavy stress is like resin training! Don't give up on your lady bro, she will pull through and surprise the hell out of you.

I was too hungover to take pics this morning lol. I am starting to think part of the damage is heat stress. I raised the lights back up to the highest point they will go and I'm leaving them there until I see some time of improvement.

its actually not rocket science but a really expensive fail if you fuck it up, especially when it comes to tuning the intensity of the diodes. If they're tuned too high you burn them out quickly. Also having a quality heat sink is very important. I looked into it and ultimately decided to buy some brand name lights and wait a couple years till I can get the materials a bit cheaper before I start playing mad scientist with my own rig.
What are you talking about its WAY easy. I dont use heatsinks dont need them. I wrote a DIY on them. I'm building a 12/20 light total cost is like 110 bucks total. Just been to busy with schoool to finish at the moment.

19 days since switch from 12/12

She's still losing leaves, I watered with 2 gallons but didn't get any runoff, with straight PH balanced well water. I've decided I'm going to cut the super soil with more perlite for these 7 gallon containers so I can better judge when they need feeding. The soil mixture I have is uber fucking dense. They're pushing flowers slowly and with little to no resin at this point. I'm going to wait at least another week and make a decision.... I think it may be best just to run with this and get to know these lights a bit better, but half of me wants to scrap and start with this El Monstre bush. Another week will either show improvement or indicate a failure.

Here are some pics for comment. The

OOps pic 3 is out of my 600 tent bongsmilie Another note - Kelp will be here tomorrow. I'm planning on foliar feeding before lights on and after lights out, hope it ma help them get some nutrients that they're not getting through the root zone.

It is currently a root cycle but we are approaching a top end surge in the lunar cycle
Personally, I think you just stressed it a little bit with the trim and it went into a root cycle so recovery is appearing slow. It looks thick in the canopy and while it's a little hard to tell in the purple light she doesn't look that bad. This may sound like hoo haa but seriously, a couple weeks from now your going to feel better I think.
Cheers

I did a heavy trim tonight underneath to get rid of fodder. Tried leaving any sugar leaves in tact the best I could..... The more water I can get her to drink the faster I can have the PH balanced. Definitely changing the container and the way the container sits next time. I have the lights up high for now... A friend of mine has been running the same light at about 12" so that is encouragement that I will be able to drop the lights if and when she straightens out.

She doesn't look very good at all in white light... I will get some shots of it at lights out tomorrow with flash.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm hoping she pulls through.
