I wanna make things interesting.

1) If you can get the Dormgrow guys to give out legit parts numbers for their "Epistar" and/or "Bridgelux" LEDs, I have a free Cree SGS LED for them.

2) If you can get the Blackdog guys to give out legit parts numbers for their "5w Epistars", I have 3 free Area-51 AF-600's for them. Yes, 3 of them!!

I've been looking to give away some free stuff, I just want to make it fun.

Thanks for the headsup, Eraserhead. I appreciate the info, that was just one of the brands I kept hearing about on a few websites I was looking at.

Everyone here seems to have a hardon for Blackstar, so I think ill give that a go instead ;) Ill probably start small, now that I know theres a big difference between LED lights, and if the UFO I order works well for one plant ill go all out and pick up the http://www.lighthousehydro.com/led-grow-lights/blackstar-900-watt-led-grow-light-uv.html.

My areas not very big, and id like one main light to cover most of it - the details show that this light covers 16 sq ft, and thats around what I need. a bit less, but should be fine.

Thanks again for the help, and I wont take any freebies from you Eraserhead :P they would probably be wasted on a newb like myself!

Manufactures/chips are important, but I would also be interested in the par output of the unit just as much. The biggest reason for using any chip is cause it puts out a certain amount and type of light. If electrically charged dog shit was the brightest/best thing, my room would be filled with luminous shit. It is all about performance to me and that is mostly reflected by output. After I know the output I would start questioning what diodes and wattage to get that output.

Your pathetic.

I've noticed how you post on here...Lurking in the shadows, waiting and watching, then the moment someone says something negative about your lights, or, if public opinion sways away from the CREE LED Dream, you're straight on here with graphs, charts, emails that you sent to people trying to defend your wares. Truth is "EH" - That's the only thing that you have left in your LED grow light seller's tool kit...You're selling a 150 Watt LED grow light for $600...And the only features that are "new"...ish/unique? are the CREE LEDs. Red + White spectrum = Apache Tech. Casing = Yaaaaaawn. CREE LEDs (Overrated and overstated - I think so).

You've come a little way from drop shipping lights from Eshine to your "Fellow LED Growers", so that's good for you. Now, you are trying to be one of the "big boys", so play nice and act like it. You're shooting yourself in the foot by coming on these forums, and same goes to any other grow light (company? - one man band, low start up costs, probs running out of their/his Moms basement) owners out there lurking on here. Truth is folks, EH will always be biast, ready to praise his lights, and shoot everyone else's down - Which is exactly what we want on RIU...NOT! (Sidenote - Go to 420 forum, you can be a sponsor and talk as much shit as you want about your lights there) Hey...that reminds me of another led grow light (company owner), always used to bandy her wares on the forums in the most ungracious of ways...Cammie McKenzie.....Loser...At least she was blatant about it. Your just a tricky trickster and sneaky too.

This is a place for like minded people to come together and talk about what they love. Not a place for you to market/sell your wares! I love this forum, most of the guys on here talk some interesting shit and I've spent many a late night reading and smoking my way through some of the threads on here. It's a great forum! I have to admit though, when I see your messages, I just think - Well, it's just tragic. And a little desperate :(

All hail and praise EH - For he is the man that put some CREE LEDs in a case and made a grow light that you can buy. Everything he does is perfect, and he is never wrong. A self styled LED expert, a man about town...or...a shifty LED grow light seller just like the rest of them (Creating multiple accounts in attempt to promote your products - Yikes)

Tune in next week folks, for that is when I expose "EH" for the liar that he really is. The internet doesn't lie - And all hail the power of Google :)

Blackstar has been around for a while. I've used their lights in the past, and they do work. I never had to deal with their customer service, but from what I've seen, they stand behind their warranty.

There's other very similar lights that will be much cheaper, HTG is one of them http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-7-Band-864w-LED-Grow-Light.asp

The only reason I offered free lights in those circumstances, is because I know I wouldn't have to come off of a free light.

Though I would like to have some kind of giveaway on here this summer, like a contest or something.

Point proven. 16 minutes later, that's a new record for you. Good job man
Hey man .........don't start this Drama shit in here, And comparing EH to that he/she bitch Cammie from hydrogrowled is fucking wrong!!!

EH NEVER pushes his lights on anyone!!!, and has taught many unknowing growers on here about the frequent scams in this led grow light business, Including me.

I agree about this forum being the best, but don't single out EH when there are many other companies doing the same on here ...... life is too short to think everything is a conspiracy/scam, just grow and enjoy this beautiful plantbongsmilie

No worries here guys, didnt mean to spark up a flame war o_O

I appreciate everyones input, just trying to get my foot in the door without wasting too much money to start. As time goes on I plan on buying from different companies and making different setups to test things out myself.

The next step is to grow a pair and order some good genetics online >.> bagseeds fine and all, but id like some solid lines to have fun with. Im just paranoid.

Thanks again, im sure ill stop in with more comments/questions as I have them.

Hmm Pathetic?

:spew:The only one on here that I see thats Pathetic is you, Obviously Jealous or maybe old partner? EH has been a standup guy since I've been here. He's had no problems answering questions and helping people out with info when he is on.

:clap:He even cut me a deal and I'm doing a test grow with them against the DS XML 350. His lights seem to be doing a fine job so far in veg can't wait to test the bloom!:!:

:?:The internet doesn't lie? What internet are you using? You have a special truth button that filters out all the bullshit?:dunce: If you dig hard enough you'll always find the truth YOU are looking for.

:cuss:Well I have a sweet button on there its to report abuse and unnecessarily causing trouble button. I come on here to learn and maybe have some interesting conversation not to listen to your dumbass rant about EH and what you think to be is his bullshit.:finger:

:hump:Nuff said. A mod wanna boot this geek 5 posts and nothing but shit in all of them.:bigjoint:

Lose Nothing...Gain Everything - The Internet Marketeers Guide to Self Promotion

1. Discounts

A discount is a deduction off a products selling price. The selling price is determined by the seller. The selling price is a number that the seller comes up with at a % above cost. That's classed as profit. A discount doesn't cost the seller anything, as discounts are generally offered above cost. If a seller sells something below cost, it's usually because offering the product below cost will bring another benefit to the seller. In the case of you and EH - Promotion.

In your example: You've bought a light for 20% off the selling price. The seller of the light makes 30% profit on the usual selling price. The result = In this instance, the seller makes his costs back plus 10% profit and you're now going to do the hard work and promote his light for at least 3 months and most likely tell everyone how great his lights are, get defensive about them/the seller on a forum, etc. Who's the real winner there?

You just can't buy that kind of loyalty...

Oh wait...Case in point. You can :(

:peace:
