Yeah I don't know whats.up with that first link not showing prices or details. Mouser lists the grow bar at $449 but maybe doing a diy illumitex.is the way to go. I really like their potential. There's a guy on anther forum who just started some babies under one but he hardly ever updates.
Do you have a pointer to this journal..?

Alibaba has a bunch of blackstar knockoffs for sale, this seller has positives reviews one user says "I already own a 500 Watt Blackstar LED.This model is comparable."
I think its pretty risky to buy from Alibaba, but it's a whole lot cheaper on there.

Is Pro Grow 180 a good LED light maybe some reviews from u RIU guys,
The size of your panel is relative to your grow space so I won't go into sizings, I have the 550W panel and it does what it says on the can, it is good quality compared to others but I have had ridiculous service from them regarding a repair, so far it's been 4 weeks since I sent it away, please bare in mind I'm in the UK even though they have a UK branch now. Don't expect CC cross shipping even though they tell so on the site, I was flatly refused this. I had to send my panel to China at my own expense, $200 insured!! They could not even find the fault even though it was simply a rewire, they asked me initially to replace the power supplies, which came without wiring so I used the wires form the old power packs, when I rewired it wrong Ben accused me of damaging the unit and said I had voided the warranty, EVEN THOUGH HE ASKED ME TO ATTEMPT THE REPAIR MYSELF, NUTS!!!! 9 months later and the UK guys agreed to honour my warranty, said it would take 10-14 days max, we now sit at 4 weeks, no response to calls or emails.....

All in all they are good panels to grow with but be aware that SOME people, NOT ALL have had nightmares with customer service and repair service.

Looks like they still arent advertising true wattage, 240 pieces of 3w leds is 720w driven at max...wonder what the real wattage on the chromes are...

I've no idea why anyone would want to pay Gotham for a Chrome... don't get me wrong I like Gotham and bought my Blackstars (and several other items) from them, but these Chrome prices suck balls

Hey everyone, I am looking for some feedback on choosing led lighting

I am getting a 6 plant, indoor, hydro set up and now that it is time to get lights I am a bit conflicted...
I originally was going to get the LED spot grow from sunshine systems ( mainly because this company has been around for a while and their product seems to be well built ) but I recently found se on amazon, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001MYQHNM?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

For around the same price I would be able to get 4 panels (2 red 2 blue) over the sunshine systems 2 spot grows (1 red 1 blue)

Im sure the quality isnt quite as good but the big question is will it work? Would it work as good as the spot grows? Better?

I appreciate any and all input that you all have. Please let me know what you think, even if its going with a whole new line of led.

Thank you so much. :D

Dont waste your time with these..

I had the chromes and sent them back. They sucked! You have to hang those things 8 feet off the floor or they will kill your plants. They are meant to supplement hps lights is what i was told. Im getting tired of having to send my other bs lights back all the time for warranty work. Anyone else getting tired of having to use their warranty services over and over?? The only light i havent had issues with is the original mag357. Im not saying its the best light or anything. But it doesnt have the issues some of the others brands have either. JMO Wonka
