Leaving plant to Dry in Pot Before Harvest

Hey Guys,

My plants are almost ready to harvest but the I have to leave home for a week in the next two days. So my question is :

1. My plants are in coco and they fully dry out every 3 days. So should I leave the plant to dry and die (dont have anyone to water it for me when am gone) in the pot so that when I come back in a week I can harvest it directly?
Will the buds be affected in anyway if the plant dries out when am away ?

2. Or should I just harvest it before I leave ?

Thanks

It should be fine either way, but I've always hated trimming dried leaves. And if you want to process trim, you'll lose significant trichomes trimming dry vs wet.
Do it over a glass table with a razor blade to collect them like your doing lines of coke lol

Well a video from Kyle kushman said you can let it dry completely out before you harvest so basically stop watering it and let it dry out with the Dirk it'll dry when you come home you got to hang it to keep it in a dark place with a fan blowing so you don't get no mold and wherever it doesn't get too hot you got to watch your humidity and you got to watch it temperature if you got a place that got stable humidity and temperature then you're good to go cuz you can get Bud rot your plant can still die even though you're harvesting cuz I seen it happen my boy a bun mold cuz he forgot and he got too moist in the room or too much humidity

This is how I do every harvest: When the plant is done, I stop watering it and then i let it die and dry out in the pot under the light. Smoke-able weed in no time. Cures on the vine. The plant tries to keep the roots alive the most, so as it dries out and dies, the plant will divert water from the leaves and the buds to the roots, drying the buds faster and quickly getting rid of the green taste from chlorophyll-also gravity plays a role too. Regardless of why it works, it works and gives fantastic smoke.

You will have absolutely 0 problems. I trim and dry in the pot with every plant from 10-14 days. Organic soil auto grower.
Do you dry your plants outside or in a dark room ?
I read somewhere that Sun Light is supposed to degrade THC
