I've looked at a lot of pictures and the only think that it looks like is zinc def. but I think thats an overdiagnosis, my guess is over fert, its an easy ryder, which I know is sensitive to too much fert fed it botanicare pro grow and some pro bloom(at different feedings) both at no more than 1/4 strength, its sister(both are at aboout 30 days?) is much better shows minimal signs similar... fed both a couple of gallons of 7.0 water after this showed up, no change so far(2 days later)?? ideas? nute lockout perhaps? have always phed the water to 6.5-7.0, in fox farm ocean forest under a 150 watt cmh bulb, they both seem pretty healthy except for color.ezryder 137 (Medium).jpg
heres the other one in much better shape although I do everything identical

yes Ive seen that thread and thats why I asked if it looked like zinc deficiency, it also says it could be ph lockout, havent tested my runoff for a while but its in FFOF which is pretty good soil and I always ph my water to 7 or a little under (that page also says could be high ph) Ill test my runoff, I was just hoping someone could give me some pointers, the only pic it looks like is zinc def. I just can't figure out why just that plant and not its sister, or any other of my plants, all are in same soil, use same water etc. they did grow a lot this week(almost dounled in height) could the quick growth have anything to do with it?

all plants act differently,so what works for one may not work well for the other
check ur ph and post

well, I just watered it yesterday so its fairly wet still, I was going to wait till it dried out a little more, figured I didnt need to add overwatering to its problems, I just totally spaced out the runoff yesterday. and to test the runoff, whats the most accurate way? collect all the runoff water? or the first bit of it or the last bit of it?

its in a 2gallon pot, would pouring one gallon of ph 7 water and collecting all the runoff give me a fairly accurate measure of the soil ph?

My friends plant looked exactly like that, we gave it some nute by the name of IronSafe, and it was mostly iron, some zinc, manganese, sulfur, and a few other things.
did wonders!

what would be a more accurate way of testing the soil ph?
soil ph meter
u will be fine doin the runoff....pour just enough water in the pot to soak the soil, wait about 5 min and pour more, then check the first bit that comes out

I think tomorrow I will run one gallon thru, take off the first and last cup seperatley (while saving it all and then mix it all up and see what the differences are, plus get a soil kit, could be a high ph if I messed upo and used straight tap water, ours runs almost 9 sometimes

well, its running about half and half ideas, iron or mag, think Im going to stick with plain phd water with just molasses, which has mag, iron, calcium for the next couple of feedings, it looks like it may be clearing up, newest growth seems to be looking better, pics as usal later today in my grow journal, linked in sig, thanx for all the help
