Leaves stuck pointing straight up

Im not sure how long uve been growing but plants that droop is a sighn of overwatering! Just fyi.
What I'm talking about looks well the best i can describe it as is that gravity is now pulling up instead of down. Every leave point up at a pretty sharp angle. Normally they point up a bit on the inside, then curve to flat with just a bit of tip pointing at a slightly downward angle. Instead, everything points up at a sharp angle, it's unmistakably not a good sign.

Not !!! that too is a sign of heat stress, leaves curled up like that indicates the plant is trying to cool itself
Well, some plants actually do funnel water toward stems with their leaves >.>
Thou.. I guess thats beyond the scope of this site/issue >.<

some plants do a lot of cool stuff but, I was referring the pic that posted with the serrated edges curling up (420 in the corner)

nothing basic about it as not ALL plants do it
Not all plants have leaves.

Tomatoes do it, beets do it, rhubarb does it, blueberries do it, corn does it, weed does it, don't know if any examples that for sure don't do it.

Wait a pine tree doesn't do it.

Looks OK, no worries, not all strains will do the V. But when you grow one and the variables are in check you'll see it happen. Notice the 2 in front of this pic do not make the V shape with their leaves. Haven't decided if it's just a strain that won't do it or if it's not dialed in. I don't think it's dialed in imo but I'll know next run with it.

Hey hell mutt, that's a great point as well that I left out. You'll have more chance of the happy leaves making the V shape with more o2 in the root zone. Cold water holds more o2, so that makes sense. I keep my root zone at about 60-65ish and they love it

closed stomatas is the only way to grow the dankness brotha! Good light, proper humidity, I do it on purpose just to make the plants hate me and raise their leaves in disgust :hump:

Lol, I'm just an long time grower who's still a newb. Learning things daily. 8-) too many trolls with wishy washy info I'll have to agree to that! I used to read and then do, now I do and then I know. I've grown many plants and can guerentee the V is a usually a good thing, when growers see their plant leaves making a V they should be a happy grower. There are very little circumstances that plants will v for mag or from heat. They will usually turn pretty crappy before that happens. It's more usual for them to V when they are happy, so if your plants look good and are holding their hands up, pat yourself on the back and call it a good day .
