Leaves lightening and curling up

I put these in about 3 days ago. Only a little Jump start is used for nutes. What is going on. Some leaves look dead.

That is a 1000 watt light. It is air cooled and stays around 76 degrees F.

maybe a little shock there getting use to there new home maybe.

Is it the light maybe? Too much? I have it several feet above now.

They seem to be growing new leaves faster than roots. Is it ok to turn off the hps and throw in a fluro? Or is that even necessary?

I think the HPS is overkill. Personally, I use CFL's to get my babies started - sure burns a LOT less 'lectricity than the 1,000w HPS. It looks like you might have acid burn on your plants. What is your pH and how are you testing it?

I have tested the ph with litmus paper. It checks ok.

you should lower your light alot more

why should he lower the light. if its burn. where is the temp. gauge. on the tank lid, right. be efficient. whats acid burn
