Leaves got droppy after HPS light got installed - please help

Just few hours ago my plants looked happy and healthy, under advice of fellow members here I installed 2 150W HPS lights above each plant and got a fan blowing directly into them keeping the temp within 26 - 28C I put my hand right above the tops of the plants and it didn't feel hot at all so I do not think its heat stress, I might be wrong, hell I might be even over-reacting. I turned off the HPS lights for the time being and left the CFL's on at the height the HPS were hoping they will stretch a little. But their night time is coming in 5 minutes so I dont know what else I can do.
Take a look for your self before and after pictures just 4 - 5 hours after HPS and before;

They will be fine. They'll bounce right back.
I should just leave the HPS lights on? I'm very worried that I might kill them, this is my first grow and I love those two plants like they're my children :(
You believe it's ... light stress? Too much light all of a sudden so they step back?

First pic looks like you had them under floro's?150 isn't alot of light but it's still a change from floro's.

They aren't gonna die bro.Good lookin lttle ones.Day or 2 and they will be perky again.

And just in case ya don't know.....when we love and spoil our children to much they give us problems.Give them what they need to get by....they'll do the rest.

That's right I had them under 4 CFL's round 100W combined. Thanks a lot for your lightning fast reply and reassurance that I have nothing to be afraid of, you have no idea how much this means to me, very much appreciated my good friend.

they're fine. they'll be like that for a day or so. it actually looks like to me that they are thirsty. that could be why they are drooping. i could be wrong.

You're right as well, they're due for watering this morning according to my schedule, I guess I might need to water them more often now that the lighting is changed?

Yep. more heat off hps makes them dry faster and as they get bigger that will happen too. When I veg I water mine every 3 to 4 days. After 2 weeks or so its every other day

you really are over reacting. you said its 5 min to lights out? you do know plants sleep right? when its close to lights out my plants droop by themselves, they dont wait for the light to change, so u switched from 100w total floros to 300w HID's? there may be a reaction to such a drastic change but dont be alarmed. you can do more harm to a plant by trying to fix a non existent problem that anything else. wait till just after lights on they will perk right up. goodluck

Appreciated buddy, I realize I was overreacting now, haven't slept much these days and I'm way too emotional about my plants.

Thank you everyone for your input and wisdom.

IMG00061-20110726-0542.jpgFirst of all I like to show my most sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who replied to my thread and prevented me from doing something utterly retarded for no reason at all.
The plants said good morning sunshine to me. The one on the left is droppy cause I sprayed some water on its leaves. I gave her a 1/4 straight of 20 - 20 - 20 mix for the first time. The one on the right is due for watering tomorrow.
I can see clear signs of growth and I moved the lights an inch.

Quite happy how things are now. The grow room is brighter than hell itself. I installed another fan and moved the old one so they blow directly into the blubs keeping the temps normal.
Should I just turn off the CFL's?

Maybe place the cfls along the walls of your cab?For some xtra light to the sides of the plants. If temps are not gonna give you any issues you should try and use them.Is that going to be your flowering space in the pics also?

Yeah they'll flower in the same place they were born. I'm just growing for personal use. Moving the CFL' would be kind of a PITA they're all connected parallel from the holes I drilled in the shelve, I'd have to take out the whole thing in order to remove them.
