Just doesn't seem like it is. I can't remember his name but he grew damn good weed with nothing but good soil, a good light. That's it. He didn't get crazy with nutes or this or that. Just good quality soil, clean water and light.

I am learning. Hopefully this jack comes out at 4 oz dry weight and 18 THC or so. That would be perfect for me.
He probably used dry amendments, or a pre amended super soil mix. I'm guessing his pots were a bit on the bigger side.

We're all here to help each other and learn from each other. Also to shame the dispos. God their shwag is trash.

They day we stop learning is a sad day indeed.

The wife and I are planning to sell the house and travel a bit before we move. Right now we camp in our minivan. Seats all stow away under the floor and we have an outlet to blow up the air mattress. Fuse won't hold to make her cannabutter toast in the morning, but were working on that. We set up a tent to put our shit in, or sometimes just pack light and toss it in the front seat. It's got a little DVD player built into the console, glad I saved all those.

We rent a campsite at a state park with clean showers for $30 a night. I'm in NY, but we go everywhere. Just got back from 5 days in Virginia.

So needless to say, I've been contemplating on how best to bring my grow on the road. So far, I know I'll need a trailer. Small one. Then insulate the shit out of it, and double carbon filter. Battery bank near the yolk of the trailer, and some solar panels on the roof.

Or a teardrop trailer so it's a bit more inconspicuous with all the vents and solar panels.
Get a 5th wheel trailer. It's like a home on wheels. We love it. We wouldn't go back to a stick home. Sold all that. It is frustrating at times but it's keeps material shit low because we just have no where to put it

Deadheadx I think was his name. He has a whole post about it. Anyways let's hope for some decent outcomes. I don't think I am asking touch on return. Maybe I am. We will see.

I just had a heart transplant a few years ago, so I definitely want to buy another home for my wife's sake. I couldn't imagine me going to meet my maker while she's all alone wondering if she should drive her house into a tree. At least with the house, she'll have to go find her keys first. And with me gone, that might take just long enough for her to give up on finding them.

I’m still here, lol. I used fox farm with Dr. earth amendments on this last grow. Went pretty well imo. I was just working a simplified method of Budzbuddah’s approach.

I wouldn’t expect to pull 4 ounces though. That’s tough, especially for a first grow. I average @3 ounces per plant, sometimes less, sometimes more, but that seems pretty consistent with what people pull from these. Posted a picture a page or so ago, but if that’s a small plant, it makes me happy. Their lives are quick. Not sure how one would get them much bigger. Pic below is a plant on the chopping block that received a decent amount of training. Final weight as I was bagging for cure was 3.5 ounces of nice nugs, another ounce or more of larf and sugar leaves that I’ll cook with and don’t count in the final weight. Pic below to give an idea. 5 gallon pot.

That plant looks amazing to me. I will keep you all updated on how it goes.

Autos can hit some decent sizes , I never discount them. I actually prefer them over photos sometimes as I can manipulate them a bit more ( light cycle play / foliar bumps and simple “tweaks“ . I like reshaping the end plant too.
I find Hempy / coco grows the biggest ones. However a straight forward soil container can bring good ones ( no bottle feed ).

You have an interesting idea about traveling grow but ….. I would think traveling across certain state lines / trooper dogs and such would be a downer. @HighLowGrow has a killer “ camper “ grow going , but it doesn’t go anywhere. :bigjoint:

Anyhoot , I would have thought of a simple 2x2 zip tent instead of open space room.
Good luck anyways.

Fun little ad-hoc setup. You'll probably do best with 24hr lights on since that light is lower wattage and Autos don't need 12/12 for flowering...that way you're making up for some of low-output by providing twice as much time for light to do it's work. I honestly don't think you're going to see 5oz on a plant with that setup. If you had the environment dialed in, you'd need more space than you really have to make that happen. That's not me discouraging you from trying (you should try to get the best you can), but the reality of the space you're working with and the constraints of your situation.
