Leaves falling/dying, various deficiency symptoms. Nutrient lock?

Can’t seem to get this issue fully under control. At first I thought it was a N deficiency (plant looks hungry, yellowing leaves that fall off easily). Now there appears to be multiple deficiencies going on at once which made me think fertilizer build up in the soil. I tried flushing the medium yesterday and a few days before that with some plain water in case there was any build up causing it to lock out nutrients. Used shop vac to pick up excess water runoff. They seem to be doing worse today than they were a few days ago.

My main concern atm is the leaf necrosis and also the amount of leaves being lost. New growth looks to be doing ok, and top half of plants look mostly green/healthy. However, a few plants are showing signs of either deficiency or nutrient burn (most likely from mistakes made trying to correct this issue early on) on upper growth and larger fan leaves.

My goal was to get the problem under control before the lights flipped, which I thought I had. This is week one of 12/12 . Really gotta figure this out asap before I’m in full flower with a tent full of problems.

Any idea how to fix this?

Lights: LED, Mars Hydro TS1000 and a Viparspectra pro series P1000
Vents: 4”Inline w/ carbon filter
Temps: 71-79F , 40-60%rh
Nutrients: fox farm
Medium: Coast of Maine stonington blend
Strain: Multiple different strains

The picture of the rolled up leaf, open it up is there a caterpillar curled up in there? Looks like you need to have a good prune to get rid of all that lower growth, its all gota go. Most of the lower growth will never see enough light to become anything substantial at harvest, they are often the cause of bad circulation & take up energy the plant is better of spending on the tops

No caterpillars, checked for anything out of the ordinary. A lot of the lower growth is falling off dying, still wondering about the burn on the top though.

Think I got it mostly under control now. Removed most of lower growth that I think looks like it won’t be productive. Some small buds r ok with me this run, I’ll use it for hash/edibles. Leaves are looking better. Definitely needed to be pruned, got rid of only the large leaves that were shading good bud sites, left the ones that aren’t in the way. Also I let the soil dry out so I could water a lil extra in case of build up in the soil and moved some things around. The older plants are larger than the others so I raised the smaller ones up and adjusted the lights. I’ll keep an eye out for any signs of deficiency/burn, but I think they should be good goin forward.

Those are pretty big swings in RH imo. Not saying that's the issue. However regarding the leaves dying and falling off.. I wouldn't sweat it. I did some defoliation last night and found a few dead leaves, but the plant is healthy overall.
Trim under the canopy to allow air flow. Looks good otherwise.

Leaves falling off are usually a sign of nitrogen deficiency. Agree with moderate defoliation. Aerate your medium. Pierce it everywhere all the way to the bottom. This will not harm roots.

Normally I wouldn’t worry bout the falling leaves either, it just seemed like a lot more than usual. As for the humidity, that was throughout the entire grow since seedling.
Where I’m at is dry so it isn’t always easy to keep it perfect, but I’ve been maintaining lately around 54-60% for the most part.

I think the reason for that when it’s N deficiency is because the top growth is basically leeching the N from the lower growth, so the lower leaves yellow and fall off.

N deficiency in late bloom is usually expected, but it’s definitely a bad thing in veg/early bloom, definitely can hurt yield.

This run has had a few set backs and is definitely behind schedule, but nothing that can’t be overcome.

On a side note, this was by far the most fortunate experience with reg seeds I’ve had so far. Out of 20 reg, I’ve found only 2 males, 14 females, and 4 are still unknown as of rn. Not from one strain pack (that would rly b some shit), there’s multiple strains and seeds were popped from all dif packs. Still pretty crazy.

Normally you add food to your flush water. You don’t want to leave them soaking wet with no food.
I guess this depends on how much you flushed them.

When things go sideways like leaves falling off etc. And feeding doesn’t help. You flush out the old imbalance of salts. But you need to add a balanced food to your flush water. Now you can say run 5 gallons through of plain water then add food to the last flush. Or you can flush with water that has food. The idea is get the salt build up and nutrient Imbalance out.
you don’t want to flush with plain water and then just leave it. You just flushed out all the food.

Got it, yea I added a small amount of a product called sledgehammer that’s supposed to help with salt build up. I flushed with that and from there on continued normal feeding. They look much happier today.

They are mostly the same size (pic makes canopy look more uneven than it is) but have been stretching. The two in the back are monsters and are still growing fast.

you are going to have a full tent in a month or so just dont over think it and check them daily up close i use a loupe and inspect a lower and upper leave ever day

Thanks bro, I appreciate that. Yea I agree, simplicity is key for sure. I just try n give em what they need and let em do their thing. Wasn’t expecting this many girls at once in this tent so this it’s definitely bout to fill up. The largest one is close to 5’ already.

I think they r back on point now.

Update:
Things were looking good until a day or 2 ago. Today they r showing some different symptoms. Not sure what more to do other than plain water for a few waterings but not sure that is helping or not. Feels like I’m just going back and forth between doing ok and showing symptoms at this point.
