OK, so it is now almost week 7... For a while the plants bounced back and the dying of the leaves stopped due to me not using nutrients..... just distilled water. Anyhow when i went back to a very diluted and weak solution of fox farm tiger bloom several leaves died over a few days. NOw i have gone back to using just distilled water. Next time i use the nutes i plan on sprinkling a littlw baking soda on top of the soil... i do have a PH meter but apparently it is not a very good one, and may not work in water. Do u think this is safe without knowing the exact PH of my runoff.? and how much should i use.???

thanks

U don't sound like a noob but ill throw this out there... Are they dying dying or is it cause ur 7weeks into flower and yellow leafs are normal? I'm sure u knew it but they do get yellow at the end from using all the nutrients stored in the fan leaves.as for the tester it should say on the vack of the package the one I have is for soil but seems to ph undiluted nutes fine? Maybe its a hoax to get u to buy 2 idk lol

well i do know that leaves tend to die in flower... it is just the way they are dying... the leaves turn dark greenish, and get very crispy. i am pretty sure that the cause of it was, PH lockout of phosphorus due to a low PH from fox farm tiger bloom. and when i stopped using tiger bloom and started flushing with distilled H2O after a few days the leaf dying stopped. then when i used nutes again it started again. so something i am going to try is putting a little baking soda on top of the soil and see if that levels the PH.

Thanks for the input guys
