Leaves Drooping

Hi Guys im growing k2 under 1 x 600 watt hps about 1 meter away from plants.
Plant are about foot tall.
ph 6.2 in 12 ltr pots in coco 1.4 ec using ionic grow.
All of a sudden my leaves have started to droop like they are sleeping.
They have been on 24 hrs light and 3 days ago i put them on 20 / 4 .
The leaves are drooping when the light is on.

It could be: 1) Too much heat or 2) Some plants will act like they are sleeping when the lights are off and droop their leaves. I know you said it happens when they are on, but 24 and 20 is a long time for the lights to be on, so maybe it is acting like it wants to sleep. I would go 18/6. Another thought is are you setting your watering cycle too frequently?

I am using a auto pot gravity fed system which waters the plants automatically.... But..... when they started drooping i thought that they needed more water so i manually watered them ....and they dont seem to have perked up....so i am beginning to think it is overwatering...

Hi mate -did you sort out the drooping leaves problem? I have suddenly got some leaves drooping when hours ago they were fine. was it to do with light/heat thing?

2 600s? thats allot of heat, how is your ventilation? i recommend if you have the $ getting 1 1000 w, WAY better then 2 600 anyday, any if you have 2 why not put one plant under each light if possible. # 2 That's to long man they need darkness just as much, and in my opinion the photosynthesis that is vital to THC production and overall growth and well being of the plant takes place during the DARK cycle, put get on 18/6 and i bet when your lights come on she pointing up ready, i just think your plants are stressed due to your conditions.....Good luck man, also like i tell everyone Pics would help us help you SOO much better!
