As you can see. Obvious cirling going on.

I have the plant under a 400w HPS in a cooltube. keep it about 10 inches from the plant. Cant tell the temps in there atm, but doesnt sem to high,.or.even close to being too high. I also have a small fan blowing on the plant. I thought maube a humidity thing, so i put a few bowls of water in there but didnt make a difference. dont know what to do now. .

It will go away when the plant grows up some, it's a reaction to slightly high nutrient levels.
Sometimes it's heat, but you said no excess heat.
Are you feeding it yet? if so back off some or stop feeding for a few waterings.
What breeder/strain is it?

Is the fan blowing directly on the plant? If it is adjust the fan so it just skims the leaves(Bounce the air off the walls).
Also raising the light another inch or two may also help. Honestly you plant looks in pretty good shape so i wouldn't worry to much. :)

Im using Canna Terra Professional for the grow medium. I have not started feeding it yet, as in the past ive overfertilized so im going to be super cautious with this grow and only.feed it when it really needs it...
Unfortunately, Im unawarevof the strain. This is badseed. I guess that makes it slightly harder to diagnose problems as we dknt know how its supposed to be at this stage.

The fan is blowing directly onto the plant. So that could be drying the leaves out?

Ill move the fan so its indirectly blowing on the plant. And move it to about 15 inch from the lightt to see if that works.

How long will itntake to recover/go back to normal assuming that the problem was the fan and too close to light?

You need to monitor the temp in there...guessing is not good. There are a couple of things that might be going on.... When the leaf fringes roll up like that....it usually is an indication that the plant is trying to disipate moisture, but is unable to. Things that could cause this is 1) lack of water 2) toxic salt build up 3) heat stress....judging from the picture....the plant is relatively small....usually you dont see toxic salt build up until plants are older and have been on a nut regimen for some time...I eliminate that one......lack of water....the plant looks healthy and perky....not wilted or thirsty....I would eliminate that one......HEAT STRESS.....I am going to say that its probably hotter then you think in there and the plant is reacting to it......thats my thought but only you know what the micro enviorment of your garden is doing........YOu need a thermometer in your space.....thats the only way to know. Keep in mind that some strains are really sensitive to temp.....just because you might had good results with one strain in a slightly hot grow room does not mean that you will have the same results next time.....this is especially true from strain to strain

Yea I guess it could be the temp, but i REALLY dont think its too hot in there. I have no way of telling definitively atm as the my temp gauge went bust. I ordered another online and it shold be here any day now. Guess will just have to wait until then to see if its the temps.

definately the heat, I had the same problem because the weather suddenly changed and my house got warm, thus my room got hot, caught it quickly, but a couple of the plants curled like that.

Well guess its heat stress then. I must be in denial lol

Its just that in the past its been around 28c in the tent (during the summer) and ive never had this problem before with this set up. Now its cooler here (im in Aust) so its pulling in cool air. And im getting good air flow in and out of the tent.

i dunno. hopefully the temp.gauge arrives today or tomorrow.

Oh and the plant is about 2 1/2 weeks old, approx 10-12cm tall. its wider than it is tall atm.
Like I said....the overall health of the plant looks good.....you might have to run this one a little cooler....but the plant looks fine and if you get that under control , it will do fine.
