I'm about 5 days into flower and seem to have a problem. My plants leaves are curling under and there are some patches that have died. Can't seem to figure out the problem. Ph is between 5.7 to 6, seem to get higher throughout the day have to down it every morning, nutes are at about 1000ppm, water temp is 27C and air temp is 24C. They are getting a bit taller, but that's about it.

Ideas? Anyone?

Also, I had a problem with algae a while back and was using neem oil and I looked for signs of insects, don't seem to have any.

Lowered the Ph to 5.4-5.5, maybe that will help.

Anyone got any other ideas? Thanks!

its affecting ALL new growth. Notice how even the growth under the fan leaves are "clawing". i think this eliminates heat stress......any other ideas?

Ok, now I am thinking (after some research) it may be ph fluctuation. I try to keep it around 5.2-5.3, but it seems to take a ton of ph down to get it there, then it seems to bounce right back up to 6 range in less then 10 hours.

How do I stablize my ph?

what are you using for ph down? maybe its that? doesnt sound like its doing its job so well. cuz 5.2 is damn low. thats hydro shit going on there. shouldnt you be giving them around 6.5-7.0? you are workin with soil right? ph fluctuation looks to be a main issue.

sorry I should have made that more clear, I am indeed in hydro, not soil. And I am using a hydroponic fomulated ph up/down.

refilled my rez, raised my nutes to 1380ppm, trying to keep ph around 5.3-5.4 but it still wants to creep up.

Hopefully that will work...

Well, I think that has also been part of my problem throughout the grow (this is my first one) No one on this planet can seem to agree at what ph you should have for hydro. It's been really frustrating, so I have been running lower, because of another chart I found else where.

I was having a Mg problem early on in the veg cycle so based on the attached chart I dropped my ph, seemed to fix the problem then, I'd hate to find out its the problem now...

Thanks for the chart though Picasso, I am going to do some more research. I do appreciate the help man!
