Leaves Curling and Twisting in week 3 of flowering. Help!

The leaves on my girl started about a week ago to curl under towards the top of the plant, I moved the light farther away from the plant and also reduced the heat in the grow area. I have been giving the plant a 9-14-8 nutrient african violet food for flowering. Water it every other day and the strange thing is the leaves still look green everywhere on the plant except only the top half of the plant is curling and twisting. Please help me! Any information would be great!

It sounds like the lights were too close and were scorching the top of your plant. You said that you raised the light... so the problem should be solved. Once leaves have been scorched, they don't uncurl and untwist... so its a wait and see as far as that theory goes. If thats not the problem... then I would guess that you're watering it too much. You say that you're watering every other day. That seems like too much. Does the soil dry out between waterings? If not, you need to change your watering regimen. Let the soil dry before watering again.

Yes, I have been letting the soil dry before I water it again.. What about nuts? Has anyone ever heard that a nutrient shortage could cause the plant to do this? Or is there a nutrient that could help the plant get better?

Nute burn starts at the bottom... not at the top of the plant.

dude theyre fine. they love the lights close. just keep the temp under 85 at plant level. they will love you and just do some wierd shit once in a while. just underfeed with nutes and you wont have to worry about a thing. or you can just worry about everything and bug out big time.
