I read a whole slew of things that made me want to avoid growing organic. I would DEFINATELY like to try some pre-mixed organic... Eventually. I'm still experimenting with my grow route so I am SURE I will try that in the future... The point of this update....

Topic change? I'm sorry is that uhh... a bad thing? Am I taking this too literal?

I have an update: or a topic change rather :P

I have continued to monitor these plants and have been feeding with plain phd water (because I dont nute much)
While I thought the new growth was doing better; it really isn't. I had* some gravel at the bottom of the pot of the affected plant; and took it out today. I filled the bottom of the bucket with perlite and vermiculite, drilled some holes about 1 1/2" up from the bottom on two sides, and have set up a passive hydro system. I left the entire plant in its rootball.... However I fear 3 weeks into flower is not the best time to change to a hydro system and disturb the root ball. Roots were grown tight on the gravel and wound in literal knots. NO BUENO.

I am hoping the affected plant will recover, and that the healthy one doesn't have a serious problem forming.

I am hopeful it is some sort of deficiency, otherwise these babies look GREAT for a CFL grow (;

They are still growing and producing pistils like champs, however I am worried this issue could cause some serious issues down the road... :unfoDSCN0685.JPG DSCN0686.JPG DSCN0687.JPG DSCN0688.JPG DSCN0689.JPG

This one below here is the plant that is otherwise boisterous and healthy... Any idears?

I would like to turn this into kind of a journal for the remainder of flower (just ended week 3).

I have taken more pictures of the plants to show progress, I trim off leaves to increase light penetration and to kind of lightly stress it... Any feelings for this??

ALSO: I have found the issue, related to heat yes; however a fan pointed on or around the plants was not the solution. I had to vent my lights mre than they were already. So I angled my fan towards the lights and set it to turn off with the lights.

So far, she looks happy. The "heat stressed" plant (one on the right) was transplanted into a 70/*30 % Fox Farms/*Perlite/ Vermiculite* "Hempy" setup. So far, GREAT results. Look at the difference in the bud sites!!!!

++*+*+*++ GOING DWC FOR THE CHOCO IN THE VEG BOX!!!

So far, Im liking the cfls. Decided to start using tap water and changed my nutes to GenHydro. PLEASED with the results.

Purchased TDS and PH meters.

To Buy:

2x 5 gallon bucket w/ lid
2x 4-8" Net pots
2x Air pumps (strong enough for good airstones)
2x Good Airstones

Looking into a 250W HPS package deal, want to frame the back 3 walls with cfls and use a 250 W HPS in a vented hood. Need some serious funding.

Finally, bud porn? Not yet... this is still looking good week 3 flower ladies and gentlemen! after the between the last time i posted and now - photos...

make sense?

I have corrected the problem would just like to keep everyone up to date and take some suggestions. How do you guys feel about the defoliation here at the beginning of week 4 flower?
