Leaves burned during flower

Good morning all. This is a pic of my first plant. Shes ready for harvest in about two weeks or so. As you can see some of the leaves got burned. The buds are still growing thank goodness!

I had this in a homemade tent with foil on the walls. It grew a bit too tall and the lights burned the leaves a bit. Im sure not having a circ fan inside didnt help matters.

Its now in my new homemade tent that is much higher and painted with flat whit paint. I also have a temp alarm on this one, and an auxilliary fan that comes on if the temp gets too high.

Aside from the damage caused by an amateur like myself, how does it look?

I’d say she’ll recover with time. But I try very hard the first month of flower not to lose any of leaves. What are your temps and relative humidity daytime and night time. Any leaves I burn beyon 2/3 of the leaf I pluck it. What sucks is those leaves are directly feeding colas.

In the new tent, during the day its averaging 85 degrees, nightime 77.

And tbh...I have only been using pure water. I purchased some fertilizer but was afraid to use it since I had no choice but to use "miracle grow" soil. The soil suppos2d feeds for three months and I was afraid of overfeeding. The soil was the only thing available at home depot here. Definitely WAS NOT my first choice.

Looks like nute burn to me and I've had it more than a few times using pre-fertilized ProMix Veg&Herb mix. Supposed to be organic nutes in it but had leaves just like yours so am going back to nute free ProMix HP like I normally use.

High temps don't help as that makes your plants drink a lot more water and pull up a lot more nutes than they can use so it gets stored in the leaves and leads to burn/toxic salts buildup. Minerals in tap water contribute to the problem.

I'd be looking for another media for your next plants.

Thank you. One of the local garden places actually carries the promix. I have several more that Im going to transplant using the promix.
