leave damage

53 days into my soil based tangerine dream 3 days into flower still no signs of pistols yet but hopefully they start popping up but again its only been 3 days of 12/12 but just about 2 weeks ago I started finding minor leave damage now I'm seeing a lil bit more what is this?

I cant answer the problem, but you need to bury that stem.

Pruning looks a little odd , As far as sexing this one , it will take up to week for hormonal changes to occur and sex to become more noticeable. Start watching closely and look for nuts or hairs.

As far as leaves , typical burn tips. FF nutes need flushing. I flush BEFORE going into flowering. After a few days ( 4/5 ) begin 1/4 to 1/2 strength Big Bloom ( micro ) 1 teaspoon and Tiger Bloom 1 teaspoon per gallon water. FFOF soil retains salt and the nutes add more. Remember you are in PREFLOWER STAGE / Early Bud site. No need to NUKE plant. It's telling you it's struggling with nute levels.

Mid stage flowering stage uses less nitrogen in nutes in increase in potash and phosphorus . You also begin a molasses watering , between feedings . I do a feeding ONCE a week , it is unnecessary to increase feedings ( it will not make super plants ) , your plants will tell and more importantly SHOW you what it needs or DOESNT need.

Forget Multi additive , extra fertilizer , Multi bottle feedings , keep it simple.

Did you know you can grow great plants by using FF nutes SEPARATELY ?

Example :

Week 1 - 4 Fox Farm soil will have enough nutes in it WITHOUT anything but water.
Week 5-6. - Gro Big ( 2 teaspoon per gallon ) -
Add molasses ( 2 teaspoons per gallon ). For watering between feedings.

Light schedule change : 12/12
Week. 6-7 Tiger Bloom Only ( 2 teaspoons per gallon )
Week. 7-8. Tiger Bloom ( 1 teaspoon ) check triches
Week 9-11. Begin Flush week - Molasses if desired ( 1 teaspoon per )
Check triches daily after Day 60 - decide on effect you looking for COUCH or HEADY .

Head high shoot for at least 70% milky trich goodness (you may or may not see amber )
Believe it or not your " cut " buds at this level will still mature slightly. If I see triches standing at attention and trich tips swollen , this is where cut for this kinda high.

For COUCHY high , push to at least ALL milky or very close to this. Amber percentage is not really the sign to look for. Amber triches actually mean THC degrading , why " look " for that ? As your grows become more routine , you will notice what works and more importantly what DOESNT.

Be aware that some Sativas push out much longer , sometimes up to week 13 !
